Ben gives insight into what the band has been up to since the 2014 release of 'Constricting Rage Of The Merciless', their current tour with Ringworm, Black Breath, and Theories, as well as their plans for the future. Ben Falgoust of Goatwhore (07-10-2015) Interview

The Compound Recs, in conjunction with Terror Cult Records, is very pleased to unveil the debut release from New Orleans-based hardcore punk collective CLASSHOLE.

Featuring a varied cast of miscreants hailing from such acts as Eyehategod, Hawg Jaw, Outlaw Order, The Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight, Mountain Of Wizard, Mangina, Tire Fire, haarp and more, CLASSHOLE will unleash their self-titled full-length next month, just in time to ruin the New Year.

Leaving poetics to the wayside, CLASSHOLE spews forth a corrosive blast of combative angst with every enraged second of the production. The band’s venomous output is the product of its surroundings in more ways than one. The riotous ways of the members’ collective output and the bustling, diverse New Orleans metal underworld being fueled by societal corruption on every level makes for fifteen mutinous tracks of filthy hardcore punk revolt.

Already released in a limited vinyl run as the maiden release for the band’s own Terror Cult Records, Classhole will now see a full-on CD release through The Compound Recs., with a four-panel digipak version featuring an alternate layout and a lyric liner, and bonus video of the band performing five vicious tunes from the record live in NOLA.

Classhole will be officially unveiled on January 1st, 2016.

Life seems to happen always at present time. We move on across the years challenged by the next day, living by the hour. Sometimes, we go back to places in our memory that resemble past remembrances, important moments or just the illusion of important moments, spotlight in our mind. Youth is one of such spotlights, it is a milestone on our development as individuals, accumulating experiences, failures and successes. 
Looking back at these memories we add phantasy to such moments. Sometimes because they are blurred in our memory and we don’t know exactly how they occurred. Other times we don’t need them to be truthful but more like a mirror to our needs. Delayed Summer is like one of these novels written on the subject of youth past memories.
Coming back to the house where he grew up Romain Barbot felt the urgency of recreating is memories, smells, images, souvenirs of a long gone period. Delayed Summer is born from this impulse, and much like an urge it was automatically pursued in the shape of jam sessions with a couple of friends and minimal resources. 
Delayed Summer is trespassed with an energy filtered by years that passed by. Among the instruments, the guitar can be heard more loudly, reflecting the electricity that is youth. Using a couple of webcam microphones to capture this instants a lo-fi characteristic is achieved, that suggests the blurring of memories that exist in Romain Barbot’s mind.

LEILA ABDUL-RAUF -- known for her work in Vastum, Ionophore, Cardinal Wyrm, Hammers Of Misfortune, Fyrhtu, and much more -- presents her haunting third solo album, Diminution.
