Made this weird track during the Papadosio Fall Tour 2013 in the van. Song kinda reminds me of morning time in a far away place, that yearning desire to let the wind guide you, also that feeling that you get right before a long journey. Anyway its free to download, enjoy!

Happy Holidays to you all, here is a gift of the musical kind. This is a mash up of some songs that have really moved me. Also it is kind of a sound science experiment, its amazing and uncanny how some of these songs go together.

The first combination is my favorite song by Lusine "Twilight" mixed with Kollektiv Turmstrasse's "Schwindelig". Then we move onto the beautiful music of Akara with the song "Gelfling" mixed with Welder's "A Greener Land". There was hardly any editing done to combine these songs, its almost as if they were ment to be combined! 

Next we have Stimming's house masterpiece, "The Kiss" mixed with the intro to Auditory Canvas's "Mystery Trip". Eventually "The Kiss" takes over and we move onto one of my favorite producers Kettel, with the song "Shinusob" coming up under the Stimming's track. 

Prefuse 73 has an album in which he remixes a bunch of songs by the organic electronica group "The Books". Here is "Pagina Cinco" mixed with Eskmo's "Hypercolor" as it appears on the "Ancestor Mix". Soon after the songs converge, we have the timing of "Hypercolor" take over for an intersting effect. And to bring it all home we have Slacker's "Start a New Life" mixed with Eskmo's continuing "Hypercolor".  

I urge you all to check out these artists. They make incredible music. And if you enjoy their tracks, let them know and buy their music.

GRiZ - You Got To Change

This track is one of an assemblage of 6 compositions I've created for my debut release. I am releasing this unfinished version so people can get a preview of the set I and Jason Takahashi will be performing at Rootwire Festival 2K12 in Logan OH. All the songs are tuned to specific solfeggio frequencies and have been shown to aid humans in many different healing and empowering ways. Many composers have created music and soundscapes for these frequencies, most of them slow and atmospheric. These tracks are intended to be high energy to encourage ecstatic dance states in the listener. Working closely with these frequencies has done wonders for me personally and i encourage anyone who is interested to further explore this realm.

Smash The Funk

Mad Liberation is a collection of songs that I have been working on for the past year that ranged from mostly original compositions to varied sample work (retro vinyl recordings and new all original recordings); digital synthesis that took me weeks to master; to live instrumentation tediously and soulfully recorded by myself and some of my very good friends. 

This collection of noise - to me - became an album, a sound in a whole, an idea free from limits of thought and more an idea of the heart and soul. Mad Liberation is a piece of me that is representative of my past, breathes life into my present, and is a taste of the future. 

I don't have fancy recording equipment, amazing speakers, crazy keyboards, complicated sample packs, proper studio time, cutting edge midi controllers, or outboard mixing gear. 

What I do have is an endless imagination of the future/now, unrelenting will, constant fascination, and a heart that has no capacity to stop loving and trying. 

This business - when you boil it down - is not about the machine, but about the man. Even electronic music is humanistic. We breath life into these dead things to make them whisper and ROAR!! I am inspired by that fact, and this is what sets me free.
