The next episode of Berlin-based IONO Music‘s series will be brought to you by ONE FUNCTION.

Music has One Function , To make you feel. From the second the sound waves hit your body and soul it touches your nerves and transforms your senses. Where and how will that feeling take you in the sonic journey depends on your mood, personality and your surroundings. But it is that first contact point, that magical moment when you get hooked that set the rest of the tune.
This One Function, the first contact point will be facilitated by Jenia Akerman from Israel. Akerman started his musical experimentation since he was 16 years old, playing in outdoor parties and quickly having the itch to make his own music. Influenced by inspirational artists such as The Delta, Cosma and Hallucinogen, Akerman decided to take his craft seriously and at the age of 19 went to BPM music School. Polishing his ideas and artistic identity, he released his first release in 2009 called Tropical Energy on Spliff Music. Exploring his abilities even further, in 2011 Jenia started his first solo project Unicode, a melodic and uplifting Progressive Trance fusion. As Unicode, Akerman released his tunes in all the big labels such as Iboga, Blue Tunes, Spin Twist and Iono Music.

As Jenia’s project developed he decided to go back to his roots with Progressive Trance under the alias One Function. In this project Akerman decided to focus more on spirituality, while combining oriental vocals and old school elements, which create his own unique psychedelic interpretation. His first release as One Function – Back to My Roots EP – was released in 2015 on Iono Music and received immediate attention across the world. Supported by the biggest names in the Psytrance scene, from Protonica , John 00 Fleming , Egorythemia, Yahel and Guadium he is conquering the global sonic sphere. After playing in many indoor and outdoor events including: Australia, Swiss, Germany, Israel, France, Argentina, his path to your One Function is set.

EARTHLING - DJ Celli

Earthling is the solo project of DJ Celli. Psychedelic blast-off music to lose your marbles to. Celli's other projects include: Everblast, Soundaholix, Vatos Locos, and Third Ear Audio

Ibiza based Celli has been partying and producing in the Psychedelic trance scene since its beginnings in the early 90's.

From his roots as an underground party organiser in Ibiza he soon started producing music releasing his first track "Just Say Yes" on T.I.P. Records in 1999, followed by his debut album entitled "Patterns" on Acidance Records in 2001

He has since produced a further two albums he has now released an astounding 250 tracks, and 12 albums under various pseudonyms such as : Soundaholix (with GMS) , Third Ear Audio ( with Nick Doof), Vatos Locos and Everblast (with Chromatone), Celli rocks dancefloors, bringing his unique psychedelic sound to the far reaches of the planet... His Earthling LIVE shows showcase his best music and always unreleased cutting edge tracks as well

He is also an exceptional DJ - doing extended DJ sets at many of the big Psychedelic festivals
