Originally issued in December 1999, 'Stand By' was created by DJ Garth & Eric James under the alias Rocket, with a remix by Solomonic Sound.

Rocket blasts out of Babylon and into irie heights. Who would have spoken the prophecy that DJ Garth and Eric James would land in the same city of San Fran to produce their strongest single to date? At the controls of Grayhound Recordings and part of the legendary Wicked Sound System, worship recordings has been blessed again with another top notch producer with his alias Rocket which he holds tight with producer Eric James.

The original mix of "Standby' comes across with Rocket's trademark punchy drum riddims that are woven with dub explosions building the track into a strong tune that will guarantee to rock any dance floor of tribespeople. The modulation of the bass line changing keys gives the track even more of a lift to keep it bubbling along all the way to Zion.

'Stand dub' takes a liking to the original but simmers down a bit with some padded chords and a bit of a swing created by the drum riddim. A mix dedicated to that deep early morning set at a party or that small club that you never want to close when the lights are turned on. Nuff respect to the Rocket.

The flip is a creation formulated by no other than Worship's own Solomonic Sound (aka Rob Paine/Zach Eberz). Beginning the track with a sort of tribal ambience with the man reasoning about his definition of dub music it gradually escalates into shape and soon enough a rough and bass heavy 4/4 groove starts running the tune. With some dubbed chords and a sweet melody starting to take presence it drops into a heart beat to break the tune up and then set you straight back into the bass heavy riddim that will take your head on a serious trip into that spot where dub and house music walk hand and hand to the most love full heights.

Hailing up from Vancouver, rude-bwoy producer Jay Tripwire links up with the Worship
family to debut his awaited "Fever" EP. With a slew of records out on various labels such
as Tango, Big Chief, Swag and Fine Funk among others, Jay Is a leading player in today's dub house sound.

A1. The long side cut features crisp driving drums, a sub-bass line that creeps in like some fine bio, rippling synths stabs and of course the dub factor working the vocal drops.

B1. This features chunkier drums, a quirky and catchy synth line, and yes, bass. Mr. Tripwire takes his time giving it to the massive, opting to break it down first, but then unleashes a gritty and deep b-line that opens up the track.

B2. This is the track the Worship crew has been wheeling up. All the elements are there, with an extra dosage of dub. A versatile mix, this track works the big floors yet doesn't overpower dem tight and sweaty dances.

This time again Bosconi likes to show you its eclectic taste in dance music delivering for its fourth release, a proper techno EP made by one of the most talented techno British duos: 100Hz! Lee Renacre & James Chapman have released in the past years some real underground techno and funk house gems like the "Janis", "Waterfalls" and "Trust Love" under the same moniker for their own imprint Format records. 
We are pretty sure that this brilliant three tracker will appeal to all the supporters of good minimal Detroit techno à la Robert Hood and dubstep / techno crossover lovers. In fact the A side moves into the first direction, soulful techno at his best enriched by the speech of the mysterious singer called "The Voice". “The Field” and “Tension” are, at the same time, great pieces of musical composition and functional DJ tools that are able to create a very original moment on the dancefloor with their suspense, dreamy and trippy atmospheres, smooth and sexy deep techno tracks with an intense and breathtaking groove. “Cinqo” instead is a kind of bet for us, taken from Format 03 Sunshine State EP 1995, the track is a 137bpm smasher that can fit perfectly all types of experimental and avantgardist techno DJ sets.

2phonic Recordings returns after a hiatus to present the work of a family member named Masta Soul.
It brings us a succulent track, "Another Dimension," with tense synths intertwined with a powerful beat that touches on the Detroit techno of a few decades ago but without losing that deep, Chicago-inspired flavor.
This time, remixing this project, we have another prominent 2phonic member, Teboho Nkone, who gives us a more abstract version with fat bass lines that will send those pads straight to your nervous system.

A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.

Ten years on from their first ever 12‘‘ release on Steve Bug‘s historic Raw Elements imprint, the Märtini Brös (aka Clé and Mike Vamp) are still causing waves across the electronic music community, with their unique ability to combine utterly funky, floor-melting electronic  dance tracks, and a natural song-writing musical ability that often begs belief.

As the mix begins to swirl us around its exhilarating roller-coaster ride more exciting peaks envelop us with light and sound. The Brös‘ brand new ‚Morphine Robot‘ is cleverly mixed into Prins Tomas‘ glitterballing remix of ‚She‘s Heavy Metal‘ - full on neon rave music, conceived way before the boundaries of classifications!

Yet more treats then arrive in the shape of new and exclusive tracks such as ‚Hips Not Tired‘, a stunning new collaboration with Jacktronix, and ‚Drone‘, the duo‘s new futuredisco tale of computer friendship. And onwards we are taken as more new tracks, ‚Presets of My Mind‘ and the overwhelming exclusive ‚Strahlau‘, combined with some very special 2008 versions conclude this spectacular passage through time and music.

This hard-to beat selection defines the Märtini Brös perfectly and oozes non-stop quality, convention-defying dance music. It’s a testament to the type of relationship it takes for a pair of musicians to work together for so long, and so successfully, and with the wealth and absolute quality of the new material included here we‘re sure they‘ll see through another decade to keep on bringing the funk.
