Earthly Measures' second vinyl release of the year sees them team up with the talented & mystical producer & multi-instrumentalist Sidirum - bringing you Balearic & Downtempo flavours from Argentina - sounds that haven’t always been associated with his style. An EP that fills you with euphoria & nostalgia, trying to find those sounds that can take you to another time just by listening to them - as he puts it, "rhythms from the past".

For Sidirum this release is about the beauty of chance. Samples that he has found from near & far over many years of producing finally find a home. 'Donde' in particular is a special track, he says "it is the track where I found my voice again. I have not used it in a song for almost 10 years." 'Ex-Plane' is heavily influenced by his love for Reggae, which runs throughout the whole track. 'Total Interior' is a perfect dance-floor ready track - with the help of multi-instrumentalist Pedro Alvide, the track builds a musical progression that dives into perfect sunset vibes with uplifting energy - ready for a peak time festival set.

After a number of other releases, 'Iris' is an EP where Sidirum feels that he has finally found himself again musically. In a way it's a summary of the places he’s been in the past, intertwined with his ideas in the present, making for a truly unique & pleasant listening experience.

Cult Dubs [Phase Two]

After seven years since this Dutch duo released their infamous “Attic edits EP”, Moiety & Manik are back. Voodoo Hoodoo is their brand new 3-track EP filled with psychedelic analog heat for dance-floors and tribal rituals. Each track tells its own story from voodoo scenes to deep water worlds. This EP won’t let itself be defined by genres, but the style can be described as percussion driven electronic music that will play with your imagination and take you on a trip.

We are happy to present you 3 remixes for our 6th release by Kraut, Hugh Mane and Mens Aperta.

Kraut, also known as Daniel Zuur, has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. He released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and The Other Eye. He has played at clubs/festivals like Sisyphos, Fusion Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Wildeburg, Marktkantine, Garbicz and Welcome to the Future

Hugh Mane has recently released an excellent remix for LOVE APE - ZEN REMIXED, which made us invite him back. We love his warm and groovy house style. He’s had releases on Harvey's Mercury Rising, Running Back, Adult Contemporary, Growing Bin, Ugly Music.

Mens Aperta (meaning Open Mind) is the techno alias for Moiety. The debut EP in 2019 was the first release on the label. Also new Mens Aperta releases are planned for this year.

The room was a decadent delight. Upon entry the smells of radiant sandalwood and oak were almost assertive, yet humble in their welcome. In the corner sat an armchair, it was placed so as to allow for a delicate gaze downward towards the garden below. It was there for watching...

Music echoed softly from vintage speakers which sat in each corner of the room and in the middle of the parlour sat a magazine rack equipped with fine reading for the sophisticated hobbyist. The lighting was dim and glowed with a rich warmth which might lead you to recline or ease one self into the evening with a short cocktail.

This was a total interior - the type one might only dream to indulge within.

A new record on Earthly Measures is beautiful and perfect for the dreamy summer. SidiRum offers up music that entices the senses and leaves you thinking of a better place.

It was about a year into our Mobfall Arena project when we first began writing music for Mobfall Arena. What started as a single track to pair with our game trailer quickly blossomed into a full-fledged 10-song album. From European orchestral music to Spanish flamenco and Chinese cinematic music, our album features sounds from a vast number of cultures from around the world. As well as traveling great distances, our music crosses numerous eras throughout history – our oldest piece features an original arrangement of a melody inscribed on an ancient Greek tombstone from the 1st or 2nd century, and our most modern piece showcases lofi soundscapes, a 2010s invention that started on YouTube. We hope that as you explore and battle across Mobfall's arenas and landscapes, the music helps transport you to these mystical, unique places.
