This is the first (official) production, in which I've used a recording of my own voice. The almost not-noticable lyrics is intended, since I just wanted to create a seductive voice texture to flow trough the track. I wanted to create something with a warm, jazzy atmosphere, but still kinda distorted with the raw drums and the eerie soundscapes that companies the soft blues-like feeling.

On a trip to Berlin this fall, I got an idea for an album I'd like to produce and release later on. I'd like to make an album called 'Seasonal Melancholy', that kind of 'summarized' some of the feelings and memories that (for me) come along with the autumn time of year. I'd like to make it more symphonic, conceptual and whole-story-telling in its entirety. I was absorbed by the idea of time.. The time running out by the end of the year. Themes like age, decay and disappearance. Which will naturally cause a privation and yearning for something you once had and felt. The time that continues and changes, though your mind is left behind in another time.. In memories that lives within the recognizable loss of all other things. I wanted to capture the dreamy and lonesome feeling of nothingness and "the autumn of life". But also a magnificent beauty and grandeur in the modest and transient months before christmas.

Basically I can say about myself that I'm an emotional nature, and I get inspired perhaps too easily. I want to try out a lot of ways to express the things I get obsessed by, and one of them is by making music. When I do my stuff it always comes along with some visual idea that's popping into my head. F.x. graphics, movies or places that I somehow explore in my mind, while working with my sound.
I haven't got a record deal yet, but I'll hopefully get one soon, so I can release an EP. I'd like to make music for film, documentaries, theater, perfomance events, visual installations and art projects. I generally work alone, though if some group or artist should appear and show an interest in co-operating, I'd be open for suggestions.

My style, I think, is developing. It's basically atmospheric, melodic electronica (often compared with some of the earlier german synth-based electronic music with big sound and "spacy" references). But lately I've been trying to take my stuff more into the postrock and post-symphonic genre.
