In celebration of MJ's birthday earlier this week, my present is a new Slow Soul Flow edit for you!
I am slowly (pun intended) building a sequel to my "Slow Soul Flow" mix. I am so grateful for everyone who spent time with the first volume listening, enjoying, commenting on, and sharing on their blogs or social media feeds, so this is a little gift for you.

This is in the spirit of some of the Lazy Loop style edits I have put up here before. Nothing fancy, just trying to communicate the pure pleasure of hearing a nice loop and letting it ride with only a minimum of editing, effects and filters.

James Hayford makes music under a variety of names: chunky, funky edits as a part of the Shoes Crew, dark and heavy ethnic beats with Broken Compass and also runs the edits/remix label Plimsoll Records, and does remixes and other work as Earwig. 
The Earwig solo palette includes elements of afro-latin, dub, and techy future vibes. Recent remixes for Tal M. Klein "House on the Left" and the Automats "Pass Me By" showcase this sound.
