I am from Eureka, Ca, USA since 1973. I have been writing  original music and lyrics since the age of 20.

Lead the band, "The Geeks" One of Humboldt County's first Punk Rock groups.  Has been in numerous bands ever since.

Around 20 musicians and singers performing a diverse selection from Joni's extensive repertoire, each year on or around her birthday, November 7. This year's Fifth Annual show will take place Nov 4 & 5, 2016.  Produced by Morgan Corviday and Jan Bramlett.

Captain Ahab’s Motorcycle Club was conceived and established by filmmaker/musician Cory McAbee in 2012. It is a national and international collaborative, a club and a production studio. Participation equals membership. Local chapters are developing worldwide. Many of the tracks listed were from a live performance collaborative project that lasted from 2012 to 2014. A new feature film project has just begun. The musical collaboration will shift its focus to a soundtrack. More soon!

We prefer a straight ahead, honest approach to rock covers which is foremost fun and dance friendly.  We love to play at parties, festivals, at clubs and casinos, essentially anywhere we can help get the party started.
