This is a song about frustration of an unresolved argument; when you go to bed and you are too uneasy to sleep, but can't work through the particulars of the fight to find a solution. Some of these arguments fade overnight and some compound into greater relational issues that ultimately lead to a split, but neither potential resolution diminishes the angst of an uncompleted disagreement.
