Epode produces underground House music, with focus on Minimal, 90s Deep, and Garage styles. As a multi-instrumentalist, he also occasionally releases material that may be categorized as NuDisco and NeoSoul, incorporating traditional sounds on electric bass, Rhodes Piano and various percussion instruments. 
 
Growing up in NYC, he was exposed to multiple seemingly unrelated genres of music from early hip hop, hardcore punk and of course electronic music ranging from freestyle, house and later on techno. Some key inspirations include the legendary Todd Terry, Jeff Mills and Kurtis Mantronik. Epode’s mission is to contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of authentic house music, while keeping true to the historical roots of the genre, embracing the vibe of the past while looking towards the future.
 
All music is released through his label Modamar Recordings, which was founded in 2021 and based out of New Jersey, USA.
