With releases on labels such as Soul Deep, Omni Music, Liquid Drops and his own imprint Codename: RCRDS, Moakz's debut album 'The Critical Path', showcases the artist's 'cinematic jungle' sound in full length for the first time, drawing on influences as diverse as film scores, soul, jazz, post-rock and techno for a warm, deep and often emotional take on drum and bass / drumfunk. The album releases on double 12" vinyl and digital on 6th June 2025. 


Moakz chose Omni Trio as the artist for his mix selection as follows - "Rob Haigh's music has had a massive influence on me since my teenage years, and it was really enjoyable putting this mix together.  I'm a huge fan of his work, and digging once again through his deep back catalogue it reminded me that there really is no such thing as a bad Omni Trio tune.  So many timeless tunes - I hope people enjoy this mix".

It is intended as a demonstration of the quality of music that they have available, and such shops should be patronised regularly as they continue to support the local music communities. 

As a DJ the search is always on for new and old releases that I don't have that will add that special something to my mixes. 

I've been a regular customer of Out of Time for years, as a teenager I would buy Metal CDs and Cassettes, then it became a treasure trove for D&B, Funk and Disco records.
