Wow! 
Ich wusste nicht genau, was mich zum Closing der Schweißperle erwarten soll. Aber das, was ich erlebt habe, war einfach nur Gänsehaut.

Eine solch warme, mystische und energetische Atmosphäre hätte ich mir im Traum nicht ausdenken können. 
Zudem kommt es mir immer noch ganz surreal vor, bei einem meiner absoluten Lieblingsfestivals tatsächlich einen Teil der Musik beisteuern zu dürfen.

Danke an die ganze Bucht-Crew für dieses phänomenale Wochenende, danke an die Sauna-Crew mit der sweetesten Deko, dem super warmen Sound auf dem Floor und dem Support für die Technik, sowie einen fetten Dank an alle Motivierten, die mit mir die letzten Töne ausgetanzt haben!

Es war in der Tat wie in einem Traum!

When the PWCCA acronym shows up we immediately think about one of the most prolific producers in nowadays techno scene, but this phenomenon does not come for granted, he has been involved in electronic music since an early age, and he is not a newcomer whatsoever. 

His first contact with vinyl decks was deep into last century's nineties and soon after he discovered electronic computer rhythms with a primitive Roland Tr 606 Drum Machine.

Soon he fell in love with the raw British sounds of  Blueprint and Surface Records, Richard Polson, Oliver Ho, James Ruskin, the Birmingham gang … and that appeal to the groove has never left him since.

After a long musical trip as Dr. Cyanide decides to embrace this current PWCCA project we are now talking about, and this very long player means his definitive reaffirmation as one of the pillars of our label and as an extension to techno sound in general.

In this extended sonic excursion, PWCCA puts his sonic weapons at work with precise and pristine results:

Crispy textures, concrete bass drums, funky rhythm elements, rugged sequences, profound bass frequencies, all that always combined in super intelligent arrangements that seem cycled but embed a lot of soul inside.

Every single piece in this sonic puzzle has a reason to be there, nothing is superficial and every little detail has a meaning and a reason. 

It can be anabolic and gymnastic, it can be mental or asymmetrical, it can be from outer space or it can be from below the earth’s surface.

One thing is clear, his approach to sound is unique and this collection is a superb sample of his gifted capabilities with the machines.

Probably one of the most accurate collections of techno tools out there.

Oh what a journey happend here over the last week..? I always dreamt of a place in Festivals where slow music is appreciated next to all the ecstatic nightstages where Hi-Hats hunt you all night long.. Being trusted by the Skalar-Team to co-create this Downtempo-Place at a Festival where so many friends and creative beings are involved is already special, so co-creating the momets in the early morning hours there on saturday with loved beings made the past days unforgettable for me. It’s a pleasure to share this flowy trip from nightride into sunrise here for the memories. Hey everyone! Here's the recording of our DJ set at Rebellion der Träumer*'s party in Kater last weekend. We really enjoyed having 3 hours to work our way through several different styles that we're feeling right now. Sometimes a bit deeper, sometimes a bit higher energy, sometimes a bit groovier, but always with the lovely synths and vocals you have probably come to expect from us now!

We had so much fun playing this set so hope you enjoy it too! 

P.S. sorry for the excessive crunch on the filter towards the end of the set, it's way more audible in the recording than it was in the club! But hey, who doesn't enjoy a good distorted snare drum :)

Titled Phoenix, this body of work explores themes of rebirth, transformation, and emotional depth. As Max describes it: Ive always been drawn to the symbol of the phoenix. The idea of rebirth appears often in my music, the melancholic undertone, the beauty in sadness, the emotional resonance. Like a beautiful sacrifice made for love, or conviction... a memory thats both heartbreaking and full of light.
