Stevige no-nonsense rock met hier en daar een scherpe tekst, maar met vooral knetterende gitaren, een strakke ritmesectie en een volle zang. 

Joyful Rebellion is an ode to headstrongness, musically coloured by Sara Moonen, with partners-in-crime Joris Lindemans (double bass), Benoit Minon (electric guitar) and Davy Palumbo (drums & percussion). The result is 11 eclectic tracks, presenting different contrasts, capturing moodswings of strong personalities. Genre- and style-compelling, this is a candid album, without shortcuts, symbolising the sound of boisterous minds.

This Whocat production is made in Brussels (recordings @ Low Man's Land studio & Kriptik Studio), mixed with love in Antwerp by Staf Verbeeck (Absynth Minded, Neeka, BRNS) and carefully mastered by Cochlea (Lier). The album is released on the label Team 4 Action. Audiovisually, the band is assisted by the talented scenarist Iwona Pom (Leitmotif vzw) who perfectly captures Whocat's musical vibe.

Reinout met Nevenwerking is een bijzonder trio: dichter Reinout Verbeke, gitarist Bart Couvreur en zanger Jeroen Degrieck. Samen zoeken ze naar het punt waarop gedicht, muziek en performance een paar onvermoede schakelaars in je brein aanzetten.

De band bracht in maart 2024 een nieuwe plaat uit: Poncho. De EP maakt in allegorische gedichten voelbaar hoe groepsdenken en het verlangen naar iets hogers ons verbinden maar ook verblinden.

Reinout met Nevenwerking bracht eerder al het album De achterkant van flatgebouwen uit, dat samen met de gelijknamige debuutbundel verscheen bij De Bezige Bij Antwerpen, en een live-sessie bij de bundel Naar een vaderland.
