The mask had lain dormant for some time, a sacred relic hidden away within the temple’s labyrinthine depths. It lay in waiting for one who could bear its visage once more. For ages, there had been none of the constitution required to assume its otherworldly mantle. Many avaricious initiates to the faith had tried, only to watch in horror as their bodies were enervated by the mask’s mystical energies, crumbling into dust and death at the foot of the altar, atop which it did rest. The high priests of the temple sought its powers not, for they were of the wisdom to know that even their lifetimes of devotion would not grant them the mask’s power. Thus it was when the doors to the sanctum burst open to the cacophonous sounds of battle, and thus it was that the grand prelate of the temple grasped the mask in a moment of singular desperation.

In an instant, the prelate’s skull was molded to fit the image of the mask, which suffused its metallic surface upon his face to replace the skin that had defined it since birth. The prelate’s eyes took on a hue of faded gold, and through his veins ran an amber blood that projected its radiance in rivulets upon his skin. As the first of the temple’s invaders set foot within the sanctum the prelate began chanting in a language he knew not, and before him the vigour was sapped from the brazen assailant, who soon crumpled under the weight of the armour that he wore. As the rest of the warband began to charge across the threshold of the sanctum’s door, the prelate gaze set their eyes ablaze with a heavenly fire that burst from their skulls whilst the incantations uttered by his droning voice turned the attacker’s swords upon themselves. In only a moment, the invaders fell defeated upon the temple floor, their bodies dissolving into dust before the power of the mask’s MYTHIC IMAGE. The prophesied bearer of the relic had now come, and the time of DIVINE RETRIBUTION was at hand.

MYTHIC IMAGE make their return to EATBRAIN with DIVINE RETRIBUTION. The four-track EP burns with the sonic fury that its name suggests and with these sonics MYTHIC IMAGE rally the fervor of the EATBRAIN horde beneath their unmistakable auditory countenance as they unleash DIVINE RETRIBUTION upon dancefloors far & wide.

Skeletal tails wove through the shadows of night, sharp incisors ready to feast on their prey, glinting in the light of the fragile moon - the Zombie Cats are stalking the night again and no warm creature is safe whilst they are ALIVE!

The ZOMBIE CATS make a dramatic return to the EATBRAIN label, following up their much-loved Must Eat EP with the terrors of their fresh ALIVE EP (also featuring SAFRA and core Eatbrain producer L 33). The duo lay down 5 tracks of horror-driven dnb designed to precisely shock and captivate the dance. The pathways of Yggdrasil flowed across the vast expanse of the cosmos, reaching to every corner of the universe - interlinking the many realms of their overlords and anchoring Midgard to its fate. The airborne servants of Odin encircled the earth, their ever-watchful synthetic eyes cast down at the servile humans below. So simple, without knowledge of their essential place in the greater sphere – the victims of relentless experimentation as their genes were cast and engineered, their greatest warriors brutally locked with primitive force against one another, as splice after splice refined their innermost nature into a limitless purity of violence. They gave up their eyes in the quest for real vision, gave up their souls to match the black pits of their sockets, twisted and contorted in an endless orgy of bloodshed until only the strongest remained. They who were blind to their humanity, stripped of virtue, naked against the vast heavens above, enshrouded in the entrails of their enemies. In the aftermath of each assault, under the watchful eyes of their offworld shepherds, they gathered their strength again and prepared for the next INVASION.

The DUB ELEMENTS duo return to the expansive EATBRAIN label in force, following up their 2 track pincer movement with ‘POW’ and ‘Shots Fired’ on the Mirror Universe compilation with their first full release - the INVASION EP. With a rich and heavy background in the dark arts of harder drum and bass, the five tracks within are designed with the pure intent of knocking the hell out of the rave. Hailing from Budapest, Hungary, MVRK caught people’s attention with his two releases on Proximity Recordings in 2016. They were picked up by Noisia and were played on BBC Radio 1, which has set the foundation for the young producer’s further adventures. His next EP on Hybris’s Pseudoscience Recordings was another turning point with astounding support from all over the scene. Arriving in 2019, his latest EP on his co-founded Fraktal Sound showcasing the young hungarian’s more developed sonical approach.By the age of 23, he has developed a unique approach to music production, focusing on crystal clear drums, heavy hitting yet minimalistic bass arrangements and hypnotizing atmospheres.
