Originally dropping back in 1999 on C4C Recordings, “Phatcap” has long been a staple of the neuro-heavy DnB scene. Now, TRCD injects the timeless drum loops and iconic bassline with a modern twist, honoring the original's spirit while giving it a fresh energy.

TRCD begins by resurrecting the rolling, punchy kick/snare combo that defined the original. From there, he refines the groove with crisp, meticulously layered hi-hats and sub-divided ghost snares. The result is a relentless, dancefloor-ready rhythm that jolts the track into 2025 territory.

That unmistakable sub-bass from the original remains intact—but TRCD enhances it with more punch and depth. Subsonic rumble underpins the rework, and occasional mid-range growls slide in, adding weight to the restructuring’s low-end.

With 2017 rolling, the future is brighter for the pair than ever, bringing the release of their collaboration with THE UPBEATS on NOISIA's VISION label and the duo’s debut LP on Eatbrain in the form of PROPERTIES OF ADDITION, delivering an array of cutting-edge, diverse, and heavy-hitting forms of drum & bass that fans of both Agressor Bunx and Eatbrain have come to expect. War had raged between the two kingdoms for almost one hundred years, a full century of conflict ranging from skirmishes to full field battles and back again. In the lands of the two warring kings, the common folk had grown weary, for there were scant few still living who remembered a time of true peace. As each kingdom sought new advantages to end the war that had so ravaged their lands, they began to employ the services of powerful alchemists to develop new kinds of weapons, mystical mixtures of elemental components that the alchemists promised would cleanse the land of their foes.

As for those who would be chosen to wield these fearsome weapons, few could be found who would do so willingly. Rumors abounded of the heretical magics and unholy ingredients that such concoctions were composed of, to say nothing of the danger posed by the contents of the fragile glass vials that contained them. Thus had the knights of the kings taken to chaining prisoners of war to these horrid concoctions, forcing them to wield them against their former countrymen or suffer the horrible fate that the potions promised. With this new & most horrid development, the war raged on. On battlefields of melting flesh, fume-choked skies, and scoured earth, each kingdom began to disappear beneath the haze of the TOXIC CLEAN.

THEEZER makes his EATBRAIN debut with TOXIC CLEAN, following his appearance on the label’s recent Divergence VI compilation with a full EP of intoxicating tracks for the label’s horde and featuring collaborations with Tryst Temps & Absu_NTQL.
