How does the first live performance feel? I was able to find out for myself a few days ago when I made my first appearance at a neurofunk event with Confusion, PRDK and Shmidoo in Leipzig, Germany.

The feeling of finally standing behind the decks and not in front of them was indescribable & when you get thunderous cheers as the opener, you've done everything right.

As decades passed, human bodies adapted so much to the point of their bodies, brains and lungs were part man and part amphibious creatures.

One human did not. His physical appearance resumed what it once was, despite living in the ocean caves. but he was able now to live both on land and water breathing oxygen as those below the sea but also as his ancestors on land did.

He is known as the chosen one of his kind and the one that will bring back humans to land destroying the A.I. interface that has taken over the entire world.

They call him KraK`N. Oh and he’s french.

VTO Records are proud to debut another brand new artist to the label. KraK`N otherwise known to his friends and family as Yoann is a Drum & Bass producer residing from Toulouse France, via Paris.

Previous releases on Interstellar Audio, Close 2 Death and Tessitures Records has seen KraK`N music enter many a top flight Dj set and these 2 bangers are no different with Mechanique EP being a must have for everyone's set.

1/ “KraK`N- Mechanique Malfonction”

A truly unique track that begins with an epic rise and sinister chord that will be a welcome set starter for the best of the best.

A drop of head twisting bass and percussion that leaves the best of us in a daze with a full on robotic meltdown and sounds with, what can only be described as robotic octopus’s breaking down before reviving again.

A chugger and a dance floor destroyer if we ever heard one.

2/ “KraK`N- Deep Dive”

Keeping to our Cyber atlantic amphibious theme of this release, Deep Dive does just that and takes us deeper into KraK`N’s repertoire.
Some crunchy bass stabs, synths and heavy sub on this one takes it into overdrive ready for a Virus-esque crunchy number,

3/ “KraK`N- To The End”

We close out the EP with a highly contrasting deep and reflective piece. Reminiscing of a Calyx & Teebee bass and clap ride that will leave you thirsty for more.

5HA5H (Arnold János Szabó) has been a Drum & Bass enthusiast since 2007. Back then, “Spor - The Eyes Have It” was the first DnB track that made him instantly fall in love with the genre.
In 2011 he moved to Vienna and started making mixes just for fun on his laptop, observing the DJs at raves, and trying to learn their skills.

In 2014 he got the opportunity to play his debut gig at FLUC, which changed his career trajectory. After making more contacts with DJs, promoters, and a lucky drunk message, he finally got the opportunity from ILLSKILLZ to prove himself.

On 17. 12. 2015, he had his first proper live performance at BEAT IT, at FLEX. Since then, it just went straight up for him. He became a resident and crew member at HIGHSCORE at FLUC; a resident at BEAT IT at FLEX; and a member of #wirsindcybo - a crew founded by CYBERSHOT.

Thanks to Drumandbass.FM, he played at NuForms Festival 2017.

From 2023 January, 5HA5H became a resident at The HIVE Vienna, and he also played at Magnetic Festival in Romania.

5HA5H’s sets are an energetic combination of the whole spectrum of Drum & Bass, mixed together to form an exciting adventure for the listener. He started as a front-row raver, which you can tell if you watch him do his thing behind the decks. He is always pushing his limits and never stops improving himself.
