This is my favorite thing I’ve ever done. Flight Facilities are especially important to me, being my first signed artist. I look up to them as tastemakers and creators. 

The remix release has been made even more special to me because of recent events. We lost a good friend whom I looked up to--Dan Fredinburg. This past weekend, we memorialized Dan in a series of very special ceremonies I am so grateful to have been a part of. It was my privilege to play this track out for the first time at the party Dan instructed us to have, should he not return.
This week, there was another earthquake in Nepal. They really need our help. We have launched the Dan Fredinburg Foundation and already raised $100k. It only made sense that while I put effort into spreading awareness for my remix, I use that energy to help the causes that are really occupying my mind and heart--rebuilding Nepal and #LiveDan.

Remixing is often like working on a jigsaw puzzle; I love the challenge of finding the right mix that suits the original artist while infusing my own flavors.  Without taking away from the emotion of her vocals, I wanted to rework Carla's single into a summer ready anthem.  After coming up with five different versions of "Killin' It" I landed on this final version when all the pieces came together into one cohesive track.

Washington DC based producer and DJ, Eau Claire, grew up as a classically trained pianist and has taken her penchant for the keyboard to the next level, creating a signature blend of house, nu-disco, and indie dance.  From the studio to the dance floor, Eau Claire has brought her feel-good sound and positive energy to clubs and festivals across North America.  She has received support from major music outlets including DJ Mag, Idolator/SPIN, Indie Shuffle, and LessThan3.  Her impressive repertoire of remixes has earned her several top 10 rankings on Hype Machine and over 3 million streams on Soundcloud.  Several of her remixes have been signed to well-respected labels including Warner Brothers Records and Atlantic.  In the Fall of 2016 Eau Claire announced the start of her own record label 'Feed Me Disco'  where she released her debut EP "All The Wonder" followed by a remix EP in early 2017.
