Y2K Sounds, commonly referred to as simply one of the major sound systems in the US. Based throughout the world in the Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Japan, Texas, Washington and New York. The sound system holds a host of deejays and selectors from throughout the Caribbean, versatile in all types of music and genre. Y2K Sounds originated in the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1999 with Galiss and Chemist. In 2006 the NY base entered the scene with Shawn, Captain, Specs, Tunda, and Mike and In 2010 with Jahson and Francis stretching the Y2K Sound brand from Texas to the Far East Japan. In 2014 - 216 Dj Savage and King Face became apart of the team to further reinforce Y2K as a force In Texas. In 2015 the Sound re-emerged in Clarendon, Jamaica with Mark, Michelle, Glen Stinger, Collar, Bentz, Kirk and Ratbat. In 2016 the Sound recaptured it's original birth-place with the addition of Star General. Y2K Sounds has became one of most  popular sound systems across the globe, known for its superior sound quality, and maintained this position into the 21st century. It have shared the main stage with some of the world's most Renown and Legendary Reggae and Soca icons to include Bunny Wailer, Ziggy Marley, Damian Marley, Alpha Blonde, Third World, Steel Pulse, Inner Circle, Gregory Isaacs, Israel Vibration, Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, Barrington Levy, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Pressure, Jahman, Hypasounds, Rupee, Edwin Yearwood, Alison Hinds, Lyrikal and countless more...Y2K Sound being very active in the sound clash arena has competed and won clashes in Jamaica, Hawaii, Washington and Brooklyn NY. Y2K Sounds was also recognized as having the best sound system in the "tri-state" and started the trend across the globe that re-captivated the sound system culture around the world. High energy best describes me! I love my house and trance ! I thrive off the positive vibe and energy it gives me and hope the crowd loves it too.
I've been djing in Bermuda for 14 yrs. now. I specialize in house etc, but have played mixed music in Bermuda's hottest night clubs and bars.
Such places include. Oasis Nite Life, Club 40, The Beach, Blue Juice(an exclusive house club),The Deep, Splash, G 135, Fresco's, Docksiders and my most recent residency Moon. I've also spun at Up on Carling in Hamilton, Ontario.
I will be getting into radio soon and am excited about the opportunity to share some great, positive beats with Bermuda and the world.
