Αfter being recognized as a DJ he went a step further and started music production. It is our great pleasure that he presents his first release in our record label.

Gemi is no stranger to Steppers Club, with his recent release “Just Curious” in April 2022 followed up by a guest appearance at Steppers Club’s latest show at XOYO, London. Gemi and Tuff Trax present a fresh take on the old school sound in their collaboration ‘Ego’, a fast-paced groover filled with personality. The hard-hitting percussion pairs together finely with articulate vocal chops and energetic synthesis, producing a frankly delicious end result.

IsGwan, accompanies this track with his stand-alone release “Cool Down”, a twisty underground groover with high replay value. IsGwan demonstrates his creative quality, exploring the dark possibilities within UK Garage on the track.

Holloway “ The Unknown” x Nerve Collect

Nerve Collect looks to UK innovator Holloway for his new five-track EP called “The Unknown” in which he explores his signature drum swing and low-end menace. Bristol's Hodge and Denmark's Main Phase complete the international package, which arrives in late February 2025.  

Holloway is at the heart of the UK underground. His collision of house, garage and bass veers towards the dark side of the dancefloor, always with a subtle mix of nostalgia and new-school thinking on labels like Dr Banana, Instinct and Time Is Now. 

Opener 'Get Set' brings a tribal twist with congas peppering the lurching rhythm and screw-face bass driving onwards with an authentic sound system edge. 'Down In The Middle' hits heavy from the off with eerie synths ringing out over a devastating bassline. It's cavernous, dubby, perfect electronic body noise. 'Static Shock' is a pulsating jumble of raw hits and static electricity, thudding kicks and speaker-busting bass that comes alive with ragga vocals while 'Swift Dub' has an enchanting melodic lead that snakes between dramatic chords and light 2-step rhythms. Finally, 'Tailwind' is a blend of killer jungle breaks, bleeping synth sequences and low-end swagger. In between the heavy drums, lush melodies rise up to bring beautiful relief to an irresistibly physical rhythm. 

Adam Emil Schierbeck is Main Phase, the man who distills his take on UK bass culture, jungle and breaks into something fresh on the ATW label he runs with Interplanetary Criminal as well as many other cult labels. His remix of “Down In The Middle” is a quick-stepping garage gem with late-night mischief in the synths and a filthy throwback bassline. 

Remixer and Two Moons boss Hodge is another UK mainstay who does everything from house to techno, bass to minimal. His meticulous sound designs always have a maximal impact in the club and have made him a favourite on the likes of Timedance, Houndstooth and Peach Discs. His remix of “Static Shock” is a chunky and tribal dub peppered with percussion, urban swagger and chopped-up vocals that keep you on your toes. 

This EP builds on the rich UK club sound with fresh influences and all-consuming energy.

After many years of activity behind the scenes in various cultural projects, Luca Tavaglione, aka Dj Lukas / Raimond Ford / D-EX / Racket Knight (just to mention some of his artist's names known to the public), comes back on the market with a new pseudonym. ARTIGLIO wants to give his contribution to the development of an "interlocal" musical culture in the current context in southern Switzerland and act as bridge within local and international artists also thanks to the launch of the independent label, SevenScalesRecords.

Yarni’s ‘Entkommen’ was a well-received debut album on Night Noise last year. Following on from the albums release, ‘Remixes Vol 1’ came out earlier this summer and picked up amazing support from  a  wide  range  of  tastemakers  and  DJ’s  alike.    

Now  comes  the  second  of  two  remix  EPs.  Sheﬃeld Percussion Club, trustless, LADS, Javier Orduna and Somethin’ Sanctiﬁed all serve up brilliant new versions in part two.! If ‘Vol 1’  was of  a more experimental nature ‘Vol 2’  is aimed  more at  the dance  ﬂoor. But  don’t take this to mean it’s just another collection of dance remixes. No, this is so much more, this is electronica with a soul, with a purpose and most importantly made with love. 

All the producers are  friends of Yarni’s and artists who he genuinely feels are as good as any, and who understand his music and the feeling within it.!
