Journeying through the intersections of UKG and house, Smokey Bubblin’ B is consistently responsible for bringing out stellar underground dance tracks. Previously making outings on Conducta’s Kiwi Rekords, Low Steppa’s Simma Black, his latest offering is a self-released record, and his second jungle release to date. The two-tracked ‘Elysium/Special’ makes use of those old skool flavours, and has already been picked up by the likes of Flava D, Emerald, Redlight, DJ Zinc and Heartless Crew. We’re premiering the latter, ‘Special’, below – which makes use of nostalgic live jungle MC snippets and an irresistible R&B vocal before blowing out in proper clattering drum business. “This is possibly my favourite track I’ve created to date!” Smokey Bubblin’ B says. “It encapsulates everything I think a jungle track is and should be…”

Coco Bryce delivers the next cut for ec2a' TWLVZ series. ‘Want U’ comes with a signature RnB vocal that Myor so often mesmerises listeners with in his Jungle tracks. Jungle Techno is the motive on this one though; the 160 4x4 pattern providing the energy underneath the escapism. Breaka delivers the remix for this one, fresh off the back of his debut album, introducing keys and pitching up vocals for the hardcore fans amongst us.

After hitting No.1 in both the Juno and Deejay.de UK Garage charts this weekend with our 3rd release, the Militant EP, we thought that it would be a good thank you to every who's been supporting the label. The Prodigy have been a huge influence on us and on the whole dance music scene in general, this has always been such a massive track to both of us, we always wanted to have our own edit to play out when the time was right. We initially hoped to be playing this edit in our sets at gigs we had been booked for recently, but as that is unfortunately not possible right now, we'd still like you guys to be able to enjoy it!
