After the release of Amansara, the third LP from Argentinian neo-folklore producer and one of the leaders of the new Latin electronic sound, Chancha Via Circuito returns with Amansara Remixed, featuring brand new and inventive re-imaginings of the tracks from the albums artists hand selected by Chancha from Latin America and beyond. Artists include Frikstailers, Thornato, Tremor, Maga Bo, King Coya, Psilosamples, El Búho, El Remolón Nicola Cruz, Rafael Aragon, Blocktreat, Prisma, Reptilian Commander, Barrio Lindo, Sidirum and Chancha himself, under his previous alias "Universildo".  The result of this selection is a powerful and experimental album where the unique sounds of Chancha dare to travel to new latitudes, catalyzed by the wide ranging vision of the remixers.

The album also features the special participation of Acampante, an Argentiniam multifaceted artist, who was encouraged to remix the original artwork ( Paula Duró's "Madadayo" ) in a fresh and fun way.

We did this remix nearly a decade ago when we just began working together for fun. "Come Ye" was a favorite end of the night track, featuring just Nina's incredible vocals and percussion. We wanted something with a bit more bounce to warm up dance floors, instead of just cooling them down. Enjoy the journey.

Their blend of dub, funk, jazz and cinematic electronics, alongside stunning vocal and instrumental performances by an ever deepening well of cultural collaborators, has put them at the top of the world fusion scene. With 3 releases on U.S.'s White Swan Records and numerous releases through Real World Records, Six Degrees, Buddha Bar and more, Eccodek continues to push the fusion vibe in new and exciting directions.

2011's Remixtasy saw the band's earlier work remixed by a tastemaker's list of producers, reimagining tracks from More Africa in Us, Voices Have Eyes and the Juno-nominated Shivaboom. Heavyweights like Transglobal Underground, Six Degrees' Jef Stott, Dubmatix, EarthRise SoundSystem, Real World's Syriana, Adham Shaikh and Delhi 2 Dublin's TSpoon created fresh interpretations of Eccodek's catalogue. Eccodek mainman Andrew McPherson gave the redux treatment to 2 radical redubs from the first album - an Afrobeat throwdown and a sensuous Steppers dub odyssey. A great way to celebrate 10 years.... but sights are now set on the release of their 4th studio album in spring 2013. (a stunning collaboration with Malian griot Jah Youssouf) There's no telling what exotic shore the Eccodek mothership will wash up on next.
