High Step Society is a dance party from another dimension; a high-flying, beat-dropping, big band rocket ship with an ear to the past, and both feet on the gas. This dynamic band is bringing jazz back to the party, where it belongs.

This 7-piece band’s mission is to bring people together, to create a celebratory space that transcends the troubles of this world. Capturing the spirit of the Jazz Age and launching it a century forward, this band breaks down the divisions between us and replaces them with the irresistible urge to dance together. 

High stepping is a state of mind, and a movement to be part of. Dress yourself up nice, act classy, and lift your best foot way up to the sky. Hop on the HSS Express and let’s ride this wave together towards better times.

Khruangbin is a band from Texas, started in 2011 by Laura Lee (bass), Mark Speer (guitar), and DJ (drums). We like to make music in a barn. 

Andrew Fraser solo singer/songwriter out of Sydney, Launched the project in march, with the debut single "Mother Nature". Which was received expodentially well by listeners. Triple J presenter Nkechi Anele reviewed the track saying " Sweet track! Really lovely vocals". Andrew launched the project with a run of Sydney backyard gigs around Sydney, that filled the vast majority of the garden beds with people. The project consists of the combination of his groovy little/ reverb soaked guitar and his smooth vocals to set your ears, minds and tickers in a blissful state.

alt-J are Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Thom Green. They returned in 2022 with their latest album, The Dream.  

alt-J are one of the most successful British bands of the millennium. Their 2012 Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello Award-winning debut An Awesome Wave, was followed two years later by their number one, GRAMMY and BRIT Award-nominated album This Is All Yours. Released in 2017, RELAXER flew straight into the top 10 of the UK album chart ahead of a summer of major international shows - including a headline show at London’s O2 Arena and headline performances at numerous festivals - and became their second album to be nominated for the Mercury Prize.

THE JOURNEY TAKEN by singer-songwriter + multi-instrumentalist Sam Winston to his latest release ('Damaged Goods') hasn't been straightforward. It has been a circuitous route, with several hurdles to overcome including health problems and a self-imposed 4 year hiatus from releasing his first album The Fire & The Icicle (2016). 

However, as is frequently the case, it's in these very hurdles that Sam found new creative strength. A conscious expression of his vulnerabilities is what underpins the spirit of the new record. "Damaged Goods is a statement about losing my core and letting go...about being okay with not being okay."

In addition to supporting Boy George on tour in Amsterdam, Sam has toured Belgium and Scotland with the support of Scottish guitar makers Bailey Guitars, a company who only use 100% renewable energy. This fact is important to Sam who owns and plays various Bailey instruments. When they were losing their factory, Sam aided them by curating a compilation album of his and others' works. Profits from it helped secure the Bailey premises. 

Various notable gigs for Sam include Dartford Festival; twice selling out the renowned Mick Jagger Centre; Folk On The Dock Fest; supporting Henry Priestman of The Christians & headlining the BBC Radio Stage at Chatham's Steam Fest.
