Between 2016 & 2018 I recorded a number of mixes
called "Tropical Mysteries", including some of so called
„Lo-Fi“ mysteries.
Lo-Fi or Hi-Fi, what ever. Raw Diamonds, pure Pearls.
Many of these Tracks create a special mood in me
& have always accompanied me over the years.

Some of these tracks run over and over and my reaction is always the same: turn up the volume and listen reverently with a smile. So it makes sense for me to pack all of these tracks on one boat and go out to sea again.

Rainforest walks, oceanic journeys, following winding paths & flowing waters, mysterious yet familiar voices in the depths of the jungle, finding and experiencing foreign cultures, and again and again the sound of the ocean, and of course the birds. Nature as a friendly counterpart, but at the same time always under tension and in the utmost attentiveness.

In search of inner peace, since it seems impossible to find this peace on the outside. Nevertheless, this search remains a task for all time & hopefully always a faithful companion.

After long months of preparations, selecting tracks, discarding, weeks without time for this project, now finally the first part of the TTT project, unfortunately not without small mistakes, or little amateurish moments .	
Recorded in Samsø , a wonderful little island in denmark, near Aarhus. To start a tropical mix, the timing could not have been better.	
Surrounded by the fantastic nature, the first snow showers of the winter season in front of the window .

Finally here comes part 3 of the tropical triptych. That has become a strange thing. I think the third part did not become what I had intended after the previous parts. But just as the music can take influence on our lives, our thinking, our feelings, so life can also take influence on the music, as in this case probably happen, due to some unforeseen, unpleasant things due that have determined in my life in recent weeks .
It is important to look forward. With hope and confidence. It's good to finish this here and devote yourself to something new. Or the same , but different .

The last few months I've been working on two mixes for the great guys of "Nature Tales" ( https://soundcloud.com/naturetales). So a lot of effort, tracklisting, samplings, fieldrecordings & a lot of fun. This mix here is a whole different thing. Some wonderful tracks from so many good tracks that I've been carrying around in my mind and heart for so long and not so long.
It is a more simple thing, Track on Track on Track. But so beautiful music. Quite different & yet fitting, I think. More percussive , groovy & dreamy Tracks.

About 2 years ago I recorded this mix for the Tropical Mysteries series and in the end I was not satisfied with it despite the wonderful tracks. Too happy, too bright, too optimistic, too smooth? But I didn't want to give it up and some weeks ago I revised it again and added a few new tracks. And think reconciliation is possible. .... "and the garden reveals itself".
