Trivia:

Mommia was a brown pigment literally made by grinding down Egyptian mummies.

Carmine (Cochineal, E120) was used by the Aztecs and Incas and made by crushing beetles from the prickly pear cactus. Turner used it for brilliant reds despite warnings it would fade. Some of the greys in his paintings were once red. Since used in food and lipstick.

Lead white is a beautiful paint if you can get it and also bad evil toxic.

Wrote this song while vacationing in Acapulco. I wanted to include “you know - you know I love you” in spanish in the song. So I asked the Hotel Chamber Maid how to to say this in her language. She started giving me strange & weird looks until I realized she thought I was trying to make some moves on her. Then I explained to her that it was for a song chorus and everything was cool!

I think a lot of us of can agree that we have done a number of embarrassing, silly and downright stupid things in our lives. Somehow, when looking back, I end up laughing at the memories, and often time simply erases every trace of an event. For me, it’s the things I didn’t do and say that cause the rueful moments. Dedicating this song to my wife - I should tell her I love her more often.

From a musical perspective I reused the instrumentation from my collaborative effort “Feline Fever” with REKHA. I readily admit that this song is heavily influenced by Iggy Pop's "Beside You". I am also trying out a warmer more natural way of producing my vocal.
