Togni is an internationally renowned DJ, producer and mixing engineer from Italy. Hailed by the press as, ‘The DJ to watch’, Togni’s work still manages to supersede even the highest of expectations. This new release is no exception.
It was Togni’s impressive involvement within the London rave scene that gained the attention of the Loose Lips family. Samantha has since been featured across all aspects of our platform: our mix series, various editorial pieces, a regular show broadcast via Threads Radio and a premiere featured on Substantiv’s Pronomina II.
We are thrilled to now be publishing an EP of her own. Breathy gasps and thumping drums punctuate Togni’s signature dark sound on ‘Expensive Taste’. The intense ever-expanding synth lines create an electro-inspired feeling, keeping you on the edge of your seat, itching to move, wanting more. Luckily, more there is. Two equally explosive remixes accompany it; a haunting take by experimental duo Torn Relics (Rommek & Aimee Mullen) and a 4x4 no-holds-barred version from Manchester-based LL resident Kortzer.

Impuls02 was finally released last week on the @impulsnijmegen label from Nijmegen! We're proud of this label focussing on the sound of the underground, to be played in damp cellars. This release features tracks by @marp1 @harrykatur Tafkah and a remix by @davut-yildiz .

Current track, Quasi Meditteranean Dub (Dreams of Empire remix) seeks to encapsulate the long lasting friendship between Marwan and Dreams of Empire and their journey together through different styles of electronic music. For this track Marwan drew inspiration from Basic Channel's dub-delays. Dreams of Empire decided to combine these with electro/rave break-beats.

London’s Phil Bolland, known as Sync 24 has been flying the electro flag for over two decades via his popular Scand parties and beloved Cultivated Electronics label which he launched in 2007 as a direct response to the dwindling electro scene in the UK at the time.  

‘Inside The Microbeat’ is the long-awaited debut album by Sync 24.  Across it’s eleven tracks we can find tracks which are firmly primed for the dance floor, but there’s alsoa line with more experimental beat-works like ‘Spatial Racing’.

La track choisie ici "Studio Entasi", sur une rythmique lancinante délivre dans une ambiance lourde et froide des sons distordus et synthétiques. Le marteau et l'enclume post industrielle posent les bases de ce titre envoûtant et magnétique.

Sortie prévue le 23/11/2021 chez les toujours excellents Tripalium Records, label dont la qualité constante n'est plus à démontrer.
