Circuits is a concept album exploring the relationship between classical instrumentation and experimental electronics.

Each track is designed as a stand alone piece, however, the album can be an interactive experience. A1 and B1 on the vinyl have three tones that play at the beginning of each track. When the final tone plays, that is a signal to start the complementary digital track.  A1 is designed to play against A2 while B1 is designed to play against B2.

Insert includes a composition layer chart indicating compatibility. All pieces excluding intermission AR can be played together at once or in pairings.

A voyage into the stars has been possible for eons from emotions alone. Simply by closing our eyes, we can travel to distant dimensions and exotic worlds. The imagination, as we call it, is a tool that can be used to unlock the endless bounds of the universe. Santiago Nino and his latest collaborative work with Natural Life Essence, “A Voyage to Arcturus,” is a soul-warming homage to the original novel by David Lindsay. It’s as if the 1920’s sci-fi story was morphed into an ambient audioscape, a spiritual array of intimate drone and astral instrumentations. This carefully layered passion project is a breathtaking dive into the very core of existence itself; it is, perhaps, the essence of meditation. Through cheerful electronica and the hypnotic sounds of nature, these four tracks are meant to help you close your eyes and embark on that very same journey.

Bio
Jeremy Meadow is a San Francisco-based DJ who has been experimenting with performances of ambient and dub techno for several years. Inspired by the futurism of techno and the sounds of early IDM and ambient albums as a child, he has been taking the opportunity to showcase less overtly danceable styles of electronic music at events in San Francisco and at smaller festivals around the US.
