 Melodic Doom/Death metal band from Italy

The project was born in 2007 as a death/progressive band and recorded the first EP called “Atman EP”. In 2010 the artistic ambitions of the band start to develop in an unpredictable way: songwriting becomes more complex, and the sheer death metal of the beginnings gives way to an expanded line up with three guitars and keyboard/electronics. Sunpocrisy becomes a Postmetal/Progressive beast with a wider scope and a huge palette. The next (il)logical step is a new album: Samaroid Dioramas, engineered at Studio 73 by Riccardo Pasini (Ephel Duath, The Secret) in 2011, gets released in February 2012 to an overwhelmingly positive feedback. The band pushed everything to a higher level, producing a concept album which kicks off a string of successful live dates. Even the live show -wherever the band plays- moves up a notch (or twelve): live-controlled lasers, projections, atmospheric and strobe lights complete an impressive wall of sound delivered with amazing technical skills.

The name Avtotheism came to describe both sacredness and iconoclasm, the elevation of the self beyond religion and divinity.

While Sun Ends, consisting of Carlo Leone, Enrico Brugali, and Massimo Tedeschi started in 2008. After searching for a singer for six months, Serena Caracchi joined the group creating a new band influenced by death metal and progressive rock making it possible to complete their recording of the record titled “Exile”. "Exile" is described by critics as the beginning of a promising career and had a positive evaluation in the most reviews.

During 2009 and 2010, While Sun Ends elaborated its ideas creating new sounds. Meanwhile, the band began to test their impact by playing in pubs and musical theaters in the Northern part of Italy. The band built successes in Bergamo, Milan, Brescia and Cremona.

In April of 2011 they began recording eight songs that will be part of the new debut album titled “The Emptiness Beyond”. The lyrics speak about the contradictions of the human nature and also tell stories of three different female figures. Through the years, their range of musical styles grew and they were influenced also by modern and post metal, which can be heard in the new cd. “The Emptiness Beyond” is entirely self-produced with the help of some friends involved in other bands including Antti Loponen (Consciousness Removal Project), Rubens "Crono" Bertini (Hungry Like Rakovitz), Matteo Bonera and Jonathan Panada (Sunpocrisy), Giuseppe Falco (Triste Colore Rosa). While Sun Ends is constantly growing and exploring different sounds, hoping that the public enjoys their style of music that is rich in influence.
