when you feel disconnected from yourself and your soul feels lost, you don't recognise the person staring back at you in the mirror. but you want to be better than your past. this song is about finding your way back to yourself and looking at the lost part of you from the outside. when we lose our sense being, we become a 'missing person' and there's hope that whatever we become next will be welcomed by the people in our lives.
