From April 16th to May 7th, 10 writers, 29 visual artists, and 56 musicians put their heads together to create FORM's most collaborative multimedia event yet. Writers wrote stories, visual artists used them to create cover art, and musicians gave a soundtrack to the narrative and visuals they were given. Together, they formed 10 tracks-- each one with unique cover art and a brilliant backstory.

STORYBOOK is truly the essence of FORM; while multimedia collaboration is no easy feat, the results are always absolutely phenomenal. Every artist is a storyteller in their own right.

All profits from STORYBOOK will be donated to Educando, a nonprofit dedicated to making education in Latin America more accessible.

This song encompasses the artistic struggle I've been enduring over the past 3 months: the obstacles to overcome, the desire for giving up, the search for something new; yet the music itself speaks of the creation of forms and shapes, the matter that they define, and the substances in which they partake in. 

This is the Cosmology of the Shapes, an entryway into the metaphysical realm where divine and earthly matters intersect.

It's a concept album in support of OutRight Action International, a charity currently in support of LGBTQIA+ rights in Ukraine. Etherea is an international online community of young digital musicians, visual artists and writers, founded in December 2019 by concept musician and producer, Aspect. Our musicians primarily create all flavours of electronic music with a cinematic flair, though our stylistic influences range greatly from artist to artist. Many of us are also heavily influenced by folk, jazz, classical music, progressive metal, ambient music, and the deepest realms of experimentalism. But most of all, we are a tight-knit group of friends who have found a home in our corner of the internet’s vibrant culture, restless creativity, and philosophy of inclusion and kindness to all.

Over the past year, 26 of our community members have worked together to create our first ever community-wide concept album, “As The Universe, So The Soul”. Our community members first wrote a story, revolving around an all-powerful, yet lonely spirit who contains an entire world in their heart, to serve as the basis for the album’s music. Each track on this project had to be a collaboration between two or more artists, and as a result, we were able to push each other into sonic territory we’d never explored before. Our community’s visual artists then collaborated with each other to create concept art for the album, based on the music and writing, which then became the cover art. Storytelling and a DIY attitude has always been a large part of our community’s art, and as such, this album is designed to reflect our identities as creators.

100% of the proceeds from this album will be going directly to OutRight Action International’s LGBTQ+ Ukraine Emergency Fund, which seeks to provide relief to LGBTQ+ Ukrainians who may be discriminated against in humanitarian efforts. Given that a large portion of our community is LGBTQ+, and many of us wish to do what we can to help those in the midst of Ukraine’s current humanitarian crisis, this cause is close to our hearts.

Many of us, as storytellers, create music to tell our own stories - some of which may be stories that don’t always get the spotlight in today’s music industry. We’re extremely excited that our community can take a first step in telling our stories to the world.

On the 9th of August 2019, the FORM community gathered once more to construct yet another 'All Nighter' album. Composed, produced and mastered entirely within 24 hours, All Nighter Vol. 3 is our largest album to date — a collection of 37 tracks by 57 artists, with genres spanning from acoustic to riddim dubstep.

All money raised through sales and streams of this album will be donated to the environmental charity Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Thirty-seven tracks. Fifty-seven artists. Twenty-four hours.
