In 2025 I rediscovered my love for music 💙

I felt stuck in the style that I considered "Echolox". And even if I had new tunes, where would I put them? What's the point of releasing anything in today's landscape?

Working on my rhythm game was an opportunity to try out totally different genres. Nothing was off-limits and that gave me the freedom to explore and finally figure out a consistent workflow. Instead of struggling for weeks a lot of these came together in less than 24 hours. (only some of them will make it into the final game though)

I still have trouble sharing anything unfinished or I'm worried about lack of context. That leads me to remain a bit isolated, never really getting into any music making communities or connecting with many other musicians. I used to play in bands and even when a rehearsal session went nowhere the human connection of it all meant it was time well spent. I miss that.

So I wanted to make this post to overcome these feelings a little bit. Because next I would like to rediscover the communal aspect of music making. If anything in this post resonates with you say hello!!
