I wanted to record a straight-to-the-point mix of heavy club sonics. It goes from breakbeat and machine-funk acid into the more percussive, bassier fringes of my collection. As always, I’m obsessed with the concept of the hardcore continuum, and I like to see in which different ways I can tap into it with my mixes, trying to snip and patch many points of club music history into new collages. We go from Detroit to Manchester to Tokyo, Baltimore, South London and beyond with this one.

Joy Orbison NTS radio mix

Hi I'm Juan! I'm a producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Buenos Aires and make music under this name. With Echosulky I create arrangements of rave-inspired tracks, mixed with pop melodies full of nostalgic details.

Influeced both by Buenos Aires Indie rock and London's underground electronic scene, I mix breakbeats with house, techno and future garage as key formative influences, including my early productions with rock, pop and progressive house sound characteristic of Argentina. Back in Buenos Aires I have played DJ sets at festivals and local venues and aim to play live shows this year expanding my performances outside my home country :)

Echosulky's first signed label debut was released through Collective Leisure, with a very special remix by Jeigo and he is set to release his next single through Tread Records and a new EP very soon which promises to be a breath of fresh air in the summer of 2025.
