BIO:
The Icelandic band Gus Gus originally spawned from a shortcut made by Siggi Kjartansson and Stefán Árni (a.k.a. Arni & Kinski) called “Pleasure”. Initially the band was acclaimed as an avant-garde collective of musicians, producers, filmmakers and performers. They mixed together different mediums to create a unique mixture of sound and vision. Their trademark style is combined with funky bass, streamlined synths and the intelligent use of technology and art. Árni & Kinski did the visual part and the musical side was driven by Birgir Þórarinsson (a.k.a. Veiran), Stephan Stephenssen (a.k.a President Bongo), Magnús Guðmundsson (a.k.a. Herb Legowitz). The live band was fronted by singers Daníel Ágúst, Hafdís Huld and Magnús Jónsson (a.k.a. Blake).

Gus Gus is an electronic soul band formed in 1995. A short break in a making of the shortcut made it possible for the first Gus Gus self-titled album to be born. In 1996 the band signed to 4AD Records that released their widely acclaimed second album “Polydistortion”. "This Is Normal" followed in 1999 and finally "Gus Gus vs T-World" appeared in 2000. During the 4AD years, Gus Gus started touring massively, stirring the music world with their powerful live-show. The touring life was stressful for the nine some and eventually called for changes within the line up. Six original members left and the three remaining producers (Veiran, President Bongo and Herb Legowitz) soon found hope in a new female singer, Earth aka Urður Hákonardóttir. The band has ever since focused on being a musical entity. 

In 2002 Gus Gus re-appeared with their 4th studio album "Attention" which includes their most successful dance floor hit “David”. On the album the band teamed up with the legendary producer Gareth Jones and Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jimi Tenor. Over the years i played at many clubs and hugh festivals all over europe like VooV Experience, Fusion Festival, Tshitraka Project, Aurora Festival (Greece), L.I.F.E Festival (Ireland), Arvika Festival in Sweden or Universo Paralello in Brasil only to name a few... ..Cause off the long time while i’m into techno music i play different styles of trance and techno but always psychedelic. .. ..On the one hand i play minimal trance, electro and progressive techno and on the other i play from progressive over psytrance up to full on. I love it to combine different styles in my sets and the selection always depends on time and crowd... ..For booking request send me a mail!.. ..Boom, oli.

HISTORY AS PARTY PROMOTER:
my work as party promoter started in 1998 with the first official party called "ov-silence". already one year later i started to organise my first weekly club party, every sunday at the juice club. the "ov-silence after hour club" was born. due to an excellent booking of already well known and new upcomming international artists of that time, within 5 weeks it mutated to the place to be for the goa and trance community of hamburg. the main hype was burning for two years and after 4 seasons we stopped this great chapter. also because of all the other projects which where born during that time.

in may 2000 we organised the first "Summer Opening OA" Party. A free day time open air party always on a hugh meadow next to the river "elbe" in the center of hamburg. since the second "Summer Opening OA" in 2002 we organised it every year, always on the second sunday in may. Over all the years this free open air party grows up to a hugh event, where the electronic music underground scene always celebrates the start of the new open air season, since 2007 on two floors and always more than 5000 crazy party people. next year for an unbelievable 12th time!

another project was the "ov-silence Open Air" once a year from 2000 until 2007, at changing locations all over north eastern germany. Always for a whole weekend, with an international line up on up to 3 floors, colourful decorations and guests from all over the world.

in between all my projects and parties i started to organise my own label, ov-silence recordings in 2001. we released 1 Artist Album, 4 Compilations and one 4 Track ep on vinyl with Tracks from already known Acts like Shiva Chandra, Ololiuqui,Sangeet, Tristan as well as from young talents (today big names) like Neelix, Freq, NOK, Audiomatrix or Bitmonx...  But because of all these different projects, the herewith upcoming work and the bad money situation in the end of 2005 we decided to take a break of the label work.... 

BUT NOW, after a long break and a total recovering of all working fields we start again:

OV-SILENCE MUSIC is born!

With the urge to know more about everything around us, I am an enthusiast DJ and Artist with keen interest in expanding my knowledge in a bid to be well versed. Through music, I express and share my feelings, ideas, and thoughts for like minded individuals.

The name Devin is of Sanskrit origin, stemming from the words deva and devi meaning "a shining one" or "to shine," thus cognate with Greek dios "divine." The name has also been said to mean "poet" and is generally considered a variant of David.

DANSKO was the progressive trance project of Danny Bekkert, born in 1990 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and now based in Berlin. Renowned for his distinctive sound and wide-ranging musical identity, DANSKO blended dreamy offbeat rhythms with driving progressive energy — always grounded by a deep, hypnotic bassline pulsing around 140 BPM.

Dan Bekkert began producing electronic music in 2009, and his debut album Refugium (2011) quickly established him within the European trance scene. Over the following years, he performed live sets at clubs and open-air festivals across Europe, including major events such as Spirit Base Festival in Hungary and Psychedelic Circus in Germany.

In 2016, the DANSKO project came to an end, marking a new creative chapter for him. Since then, he has been exploring other musical directions and collaborative projects, continuing to evolve his sound while remaining deeply connected to his electronic roots.

Gustavo Manfroni was brought up dedicating his time and interest completely to music. He's been playing the guitar since his early days. He played in 2 rock bands, up to the day when, during a trip to London, got in touch with the psychedelic trance music.

The interest in electronic music grew fast and, in the end of 1999, started buying softwares for producing music.

With an individual style focusing on strong warm basslines and textured, psychedelic leads, it breaks away from the standard full-on, representing a new, fresh direction in dancefloor music. 

He has gained recognition as one of the top live acts over the past few years. With performances over 30 countries at festivals across the globe, (e.g.) Boom Festival (Portugal), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Universo Paralello (Brazil), Ultramusic Festival (Russia), Fusion Festival (Germany), Vuuv Festival (Germany), Eclipse Summer Festival (Canada), Sonica Festival (Italy), FullMoon Festival (Germany), Aurora Festival (Greece), Paradise Festival (Austria), Summer Never Ends Festival (Switzerland), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Glade Festival (UK), Maitreya Festival (Australia), Eclipse 2012 Festival (Australia), Antaris Festival (Germany), etc...), and more than 100 releases on labels worldwide, Gustavo has honed his style into dancefloor perfection.

 Gustavo together with Swarup and Zumbi, released the self-titled artist album "The First Stone" in January 2006 and their second album early 2010.

In 2008 He joined forces with Dickster (Green Nuns of the Revolution, AMD), to form a new live act called "Circuit Breakers". With already 2 top selling EPs "Brazinglish" "Overload" and a full album "Fragmented Reality" released 2013 on Nano Records.

Gogo is, unquestionably, one of the most popular and most successful Swiss DJ's. Whether behind the decks, or as a promoter of cult parties, or as a producer of top tracks, this name stands out.

In 1987 the still young techno culture in Zürich was heavily influenced by Gogo. He set up the first Zürich underground techno club Illusion Dance in 1991. When hardly anybody was aware of what the term 'progressive music' really meant Gogo made Swiss clubbing history, thanks to his progressive nights at The Roxy. Gogo's real breakthrough came during the years 1995/96 when he started his own party sessions: House of Love. At the no.1 radio station of Zurich Radio 24 he mixed for 1 1⁄2 year the Friday night Session Sputnik Radio. 2006 Gogo get the opportunity to play in Locarno on the Piazza Grande. 15’000 people, a massive stage and excellent crowd. He was the supporting act for Depeche Mode! He played at the most famous clubs around the world. He brings people from all over the world to new levels of excitement with his outstanding style and he's even carried his sound to China, where he has been warmly welcomed ever since. The Dutch label Cyber Records contracted him as one of their main producers. He released and remixed tracks of well known artists and had a huge success with his records on the English label Hooj. Since then Gogo has published more than thirty tracks, which the UK's well-respected DJ Magazine described as being amongst 'the deepest tracks ever'. an attribute which doesn't need any more explanation. In March 2001, DJ Gogo and his partners made a dream come true: they took over the former Matrix club in Zürich and re-opened it as Club Q.


The half German, half Danish deejay “NeuroLogic” got into electronic music in the year 2000. Four years later he started mixing. 
Until now, he has played at many events around the Globe including Wonderland Festival, Evolution Festival, Gideon Festival, Dreamweaver OA, Together Festival, Flopkick OA, Morgentau OA, Fullmoon Festival,Fusion Festival, Eclipse 2012 and Universo Paralello. 
He has allready performed at events in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Australia and Brazil. 
Well known for his perfect mixing style, he always gets a groove going with a knack for playing the right music at the right time. His unique Mix of progressive and psychedelic music always embodies the spirit of the current time. His deejay sets are influenced by a wide range of music, including: dub, chill, techno, rock, jazz and a vast range of other electronic musical influences.....Listen & Enjoy
