THE BUNKIE EP is dedicated to the very beginning.. 

  It all started back in 2009 with an acoustic guitar and an extremely high pitched voice. You'd usually catch me covering songs like "There Is" by Boxcar Racer, "Dare 4 Distance" by NeverShoutNever, or "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls.. I really started to find my passion for making music and couldn't turn back from there. 
  
  Back in the day, my father had built us kids a cabin in the backyard that we called our "bunkie. It's where i'd seclude myself to practice my singing without anybody knowing. One day, i remember my dad walked in and complimented me on the song i was singing. Even though it was something i was completely self conscious about, he always pushed me to do more with it. 

  From then on, i started to cover my favourite acoustic songs at local coffee shops, and high school talent shows. It was honestly such an amazing feeling connecting with people at these small venues, and i started to make a bit of a name for myself around town. 

  It's been a full decade since then, and i've gone from covering popular acoustic songs, to writing and recording my own. This EP is all about nostalgia and making my music come full circle. There are songs on this EP that are related to the situations, and feelings i never got to express back in 2009. Another fun fact, is that i even went by the name "homesweethome" back when i was starting all of this.
  
  Fast forward 10 years, and here we are. I’m about to drop the most meaningful and authentic project i have ever created. 2009 me would be so happy. 
All the songs on the EP are based off true emotion and actual events.
 The cover of this album means so much to me, and was created by my talented and beautiful girlfriend Lauren!
