On my day off I decided to return to the road to Simpleton, where all the pilgrims are thick as a brick and the destination is forgettable...
I've fleshed out an arrangement, although I started with the intention of adding some dynamics and variation to the drum track: funny how you end up in places you don't intend to go, when following the muse!
Drums sounds are SI Drums/Nice Studio Kit, bass is the old standby Roland TTS-1 Rubber Bass, lead keys are Rapture Session SCI Keys, pad is Dimension Pro 8 Beat Caves.

I used the Kemper Profiler to profile my Ethos Overdrive preamp, tweaked a few parameters, and recorded it. It's up on the Rig Exchange as "Ethos Overdrive Texas."

Played on a Fender Strat with Neck/Middle pickups and Treble rolled down a bit.
