Marvelous track and a great, inspired play, Eckhardt!

Enjoyed it. The drums were somewhat muted and didn't take over and gave it much dimension. As well, the drums had a great deal of technique instead of that one rhythm we always hear over and over. What a great song. Driving, moving, thought provoking. Clear sounding.Loved it. Just Loved it.

The Secret Garden

This is a home-made pre-production of my new song. Chord progression following an idea of Ecki Gehde, the final form was written together with Ralph König. Lyrics and vocals are under development. The title has been inspired by a text line within Bob Dylan's "Ballad of a thin man."
Final production will be done at Anca Graterols Frida Park Studio in Hannover, Germany, together with friends.

I Don‘t Know What It Is_1

A simple tune in Open E describing the atmosphere of the summer just starting. Long ago, 1978, I got this idea first time during a kayak tour in Sweden. Sitting near the fire, on a rocky island within the Fryken lakes, the others laying back and starring up to the stars. 
Open tunings offer new ideas.

I am Blues oriented, but open to other musical styles. Of course I like B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Luther Allison, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, the early Eric Clapton with Cream, Bob Dylan, SRV, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Angus Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, The Stones and The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers, Dire Straits, Tony Joe White, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald, Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa, Dan Patlansky, John Mayer, Pat Metheny, Prince — and Lou Reed. 

Until 2017 I played with two bands: A band in Hannover, since 2007 (BH). This work has been finished in September 2017. 2017-2019 I concentrated on a Blues Band in Hameln (WINTERBAND), a Reunion of an old band from the 80s, started 2016/2017 with 3 former and 2 new members (BBH).

All other tracks are Solo projects and have been recorded by me alone or together with friends in a studio (Anca Graterol's Frida Park Studio, Hannover).

In the future, I want to write and sing more own songs. First ideas and recordings you can find here. I am eager to finish some tracks.
