For this occasion we present you one of those mixes we've been looking forward to present for quite some time on our show at Rinoceronte fm Radio and here on our sc. 

A brilliant 90 min mix jumping from one flavour to another as smoothly as it gets from one of our favourite artists, Tim Rivers aka Kalidasa.

Great dj and producer. He's released music on Emerald & Doreen, Tusk Wax and Craig Bratley's label, Magic Feet among others.

Forthcoming works on Kinfolk rec. and ISM plus several remixes also ready to be released in 2015.

Mix of the Week #135: Andy Pye (Balearic Social) - Slow Dancing

This young dj starts his passion, growing up from the record collection of his father, punk pop disco techno etc. perfecting his technique and taste, but not until 2000 started his career.He worked as a music journalist for the magazine Deejaymania, with reports has great artist as Justice, Tiga, 2manydjs, Dj Hell etc. His eclectic sessions are based on a goodmix of disco, funk, and electro, all dressed in a very peculiar way.

Like producer, Italo Disco stuff with tracks like "Lost Bug (Reactinium Rec)" or "Ecstasy on Slow Mootion" with remixes by Italo Brutalo, Disco Selectors and Richard Rossa, being selected within the top ten Ep in 2013 at Denso Mag. Next year released "Blame it" on Tom Tom Disco that was played by artist like: Punks Jump Up, Plastique de Reve or Jarle Brathen... and in 2015 joins forces with the artist Rewindthedisco released an incredible remix to Tensnake Jacques Lu Cont - Feel of love, sneaked in the suitcases of international artists. Finishing this 2015 with 2 originals tracks, in other labels like Spa In Disco and his last remix for Paranonse, released in Italiand Rec. and distributed by Kompakt. This remix counts with the support of greats artists like: The Emperor Machine, Jarle Brathen (Full Pupp), Gemini Brothers, Frank Agrario (Mozarella rec), Pin Up Club (Nein Rec), Kelton Prima, Franz Scala, Pete Herbert, Dario Piana, Future Bones, Plastique De reve Final Djs, Phunktastique, Los Bikini, Richard Rossa, Dj Lui, Light Spectrum, Italo Brutalo, Rewindthedisco..... playing at festivals like the ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) or Alfresco in England. Others stamps as disc steering wheel, Mozzarella Rec., Spa in disco or Nómanda Rec (where his last track has been punctured by Xinobi), have been them last, where its mix between italo-disc well seasoned of electro and high dose of dance, make that the same Moroder feel proud of his legacy.

Their good state of form has led him to stop by booths so representative clubs such as: Sabotage (Berlín), Razzmatazz (Danceteria/BCN), Mondo (Madrid), Slow Club (BCN), Charada (Kill & Carne/Madrid), Moroder Sound Club (Madrid), Invitro y Tokio Club (Bogotá/Colombia), Nylon Club (Valencia), Moss Club (Murcia)...

Because we wondered if he was OK, we had a look at what Ant Rothmans was up to at the moment. With a fully comprehensive bio that simply states ‘Rothmans - limited edition, musical collectible, 180g vinyl, no digital’, we thought it was time to find out a bit more. The label has released some class records that include quality artists such as Tusk, Timothy J Fairplay, Scott Fraser, Coyote, Naduve and many more, and are about to get to the 15th EP. Ant got his pal and co- producer Dawn Again do provide a mix, while he banged on about all sorts of shite. They are both well worth a listen and a read.
