Juin, ses festivals et le rituel des bières en terrasse : rien de tel pour accompagner cette période bénie qu'un nouveau voyage au sein de notre train poétique. Qui mieux qu'Under Radaar pour célébrer les beaux jours ? D'une sélection polymorphe, naviguant à travers les continents, ressort un monologue enchanté, l'âme d'un digger obsédé par nos rythmes caribéens. Un nouveau conte à écouter sans modération.

Description : 
Under Radaar est un digger Dijonnais. D'abord
attiré par la House, son style de prédilection est
petit à petit devenu la world music ! Comme son
nom l'indique il aime dénicher des sons peu
connus. Ses Dj set peuvent passer par des vibes
tropicales, du zouk, de la funk Sud africaine, en
passant par la disco, l’italo disco ou de la musique
électronique. Finalement c'est dans un style
"crossover" qu'il s'épanouit le plus. Ses
inspirations proviennent d’artistes comme Antal,
Hunee ou Palms Trax ! Échauffez vos pieds, et
venez les faire danser !

Summer can officially begin! Music is My Sanctuary is proud to present the sunny glider "Réalité" taken from the forthcoming EP from Stella, Détends-Toi.

It marks the first release for the label Cosmic Romance, run by Ed Longo and Gilberto Mascarenhas. A record heavily influenced boogie, the sound of mid-80s French underground, and Zouk, it's an essential 12" for summer 2022.

What Cha Been Up To?

New mix comes from our dear friend Camille Bertin aka Plastic Bamboo.
Once based in Manchester, he was into a five piece electropop band called "May68" which released eps on "Hit Club" and famous french-japanese "Kitsune". More and more into electronic music through spending hours at Piccadilly Records with his pal Patrick Ryder, he relocated him in France and quickly joined Les Yeux Orange. He then released an awesome ep for "Bordello A Parigi" and remixes on "Red Laser Records" Under his moniker Alan Dente.
Now operating solo, he opened a YouTube channel of his own, unveiling some of his best digs and oh man he's a passionate and a crazydigger among the best of them ! For us he cooked an unpretentious mix full of hazy disco joints, and pure disco mixes getting rare and rarer these days, we are happy to broadcast it, Cheers Plastic !

Once again, Ana Fernandes brings another top guest to her show Fade To Sunset. This week we are excited to have on our radio Detroit legend Marcellus “Malik” Pittman.
Born and bred in the famous Motor City, Pittman started his DJ pursuits in the early 90’s, and went on to release his music on Sound Signature, Theo Parrish’s mythical label. He also forged a working relationship with Parrish, Rick Wilhite and Moodymann, also known as the 3 Chairs. As producers and selectors they have helped define an Integral part of the Detroit Sound. Having played in many of the best parties in Detroit and all over the globe, his dedication to production ushered the discontinuation of his latest residency with Northern Lights in Detroit. Malik is currently heading his own label, Unirhythm, where he will be releasing his upcoming projects.

We would like to round up this year with a guest mix by Giorgio Lopez, who’s outstanding LP “Palinuro Phonebox” on Prins Thomas’ label, Horisontal Mambo was definitely one of the highlights in 2020. This mix is like a love letter to Giorgio's home town, Naples.

“The conclusion of this very strange year will see no cheering and no dancing (well, at least not in public places). But this also has been a very special year for me and I want to close it with some great music, which also holds a special meaning to me: there’s some Palinuro Phonebox, there’s some “tutelary deities”, but most importantly there’s lots of music by friends with a heart that beats in Naples, and that fed the inspiration for making my own music. It’s my way to say thank you to this great musicians and to the special place I grew up in, and hopefully to make you dance away these last few hours of this nightmare of a year. And also, last but not least, thanks a lot to the guys at Pleasure Voyage that decided to host the mix on their channels.”

eclectics is an independent record label & collective that is interested in what connects things rather than what divides them, be that music or people.

The collective, which began in 2015, has many facets to it, but the ethos behind it all is inclusiveness and creativity. The label launched in 2017 and with 22 EP’s released to date, plus a compilation and a number of edits, they’ve collaborated with some amazing artists over the years and have lots of exciting new projects in the pipeline.
