We are Preston Hospital Radio and we provide a high quality broadcasting service to the patients of The Royal Preston Hospital since the 10th November 2013 and all of our presenters and members are volunteers and enjoy providing their time for free for all the patients to enjoy and hopefully take their mind off why they are in the Hospital, even if it is for a short period.
We broadcast to the beds in the Royal Preston Hospital through the Hospedia's TV Radio and Telephone system beside the beds and our website www.prestonhospitalradio.com
We have live sports coverage of Preston North End Football, Blackburn Hawks Ice Hockey, Grasshoppers Rugby, Lancashire Cricket games to Horse racing for example the Grand National to name a few, not all of the sport is allowed to be broadcasted on the internet via our web page but all sport is broadcasted to the wards within The Royal Preston Hospital and the Sharoe Green Unit and all for FREE check out the schedule on our web page www.prestonhospitalradio.com for all shows and sports coverage.
All our listeners can listen to us for FREE and also call us for FREE on our own special phone line for the patients if they wish to make requests, or get involved with quizzes or Bingo that is available on certain shows or even just give a big shout out, then call us on *4306 for FREE.
We are always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year for our listeners.
We are always looking to improve for our listeners at Preston Hospital and we will be looking to recruit new members and presenters to build up the proven high quality service we pride ourselves on providing already.

We have no support financially from any organisations and we have to try raise our own funds to pay our costs every year, for example PPL Licensing and other day to day running costs to keep us broadcasting,
