10 years of label Eco Futurism Corporation! This sounds a little crazy to me... In numbers: 27 releases, more than 500K listens (soundcloud + bandcamp) and ~10K followers (soundcloud + bandcamp).

On the cover you see a screenshot from Ether One, which I once accidentally came across on Tumblr and saved for myself, only recently remembering it. The main idea of ​​this game is the fragility of the human mind (dementia) and the restoration of memories. This compilation has a similar message.
This compilation is dedicated to all of you: former residents and current members of the label, producers who participated in our compilations and released individual releases, subscribers and listeners on this long journey!


The label started in autumn 2015 as a "local joke" about the own genre called «eco grime», neo-grime beats with sounds of nature, and inspired by the aesthetics of Eco Futurism — a bright utopia in a world where crises were already beginning to be felt.... Ecological, geopolitical, digital.

Unexpectedly, this resonated with many people. We eventually took our place and brought new ideas and concepts to the deconstructed club scene, inspired many musicians, digital artists, and even influenced the launch of several other labels.
This was shown by featured on Bandcamp Daily about eco grime and mentions in leading music media: Fact Magazine, Resident Advisor, Electronic Beats, Pitchfork, Dummy, RBMA and on many other sites and blogs. In addition, mixes on Rinse FM, NTS, BCR, for Tiny Mix Tapes.

However, over time, eco grime exhausted itself, which led to our stagnation, long periods of no releases and forced us to search for a new sound. In recent years, I have observed the revival of ambient jungle and the formation of a new genre, Botanica (remember our Eco Collage compilation series - some tracks there sound like proto-Botanica), their key feature is the use of nature sounds in the production process. This forced us to take a broader look at the initial idea of ​​the label and its focus only on eco grime.

This compilation reflects our new vector, as it contains many tracks in different styles, somehow inspired by the aesthetics of Eco Futurism and the sound of nature.
