Eco in the light se formó a mitad de febrero del 2009 con la necesidad de crear canciones propias y distinguirse dentro de la escena musical que se genera en la actualidad.

Los sonidos que produce la banda son la mezcla de diferentes influencias, no solamente musicales, sino de todo tipo, ya que cada una de las canciones expresan las vivencias por las que han pasado cada uno de sus integrantes.
Las letras, las voces con eco, los distorsionadores y delays en las guitarras, el over drive en el bajo y la variedad de ritmos en la batería, son los detalles que caracterizan y envuelven a los espectadores, atrayéndolos hacia un mundo de efectos sonoros combinados con un sentimiento de melancolía. 
Su finalidad no es buscar etiquetas o género musical especifico, el objetivo es expresar a través la música las sensaciones que logran percibir del los mundos que les rodean.
