Sensi Freak präsentiert seine Musik unter dem Label: To many Words, welchem er im May 2015 beitrat. Seit 2012 produziert Julian Zangerl alias Sensi Freak elektronische Musik. Anfangs war es Ambient Sound später dann eher Goatrance, mittlerweile fliessen immer häufiger Minimal/Techno Elemente mit ein. Er produziert mit Ableton Live. Das DJing mit CD's oder am PC ist machbar es fehlt jedoch noch an Perfektion in Sachen Effekte, er spielt am liebsten Progressive Trance und Techno. Früh interessierte er sich für Musik und lernte so Keyboard, akustische Gitarre und später E-Gitarre spielen. 

J. `Jay` Venter, known as Ecoteric, is a South African-born producer and sound architect whose work dissolves the borders between deep, progressive, and psychedelic electronica. From his earliest years, music was less a pastime than a native language. Immersed in a family where sound was always present, he began producing at the age of eleven, already pulling apart rhythms and tones to build something of his own. What started as raw curiosity became the seed of a lifelong obsession with uncompromising creativity.

In 2018, he gave this obsession a name, Ecoteric. More than a project, it became a vessel for exploring immersive atmospheres, fractured rhythms, and textures that blur the line between the natural and the synthetic. His releases on labels such as Universal Tribe Records and Merkaba Music drew attention to a sound both precise and primal, seismic basslines that move like shifting earth, mids that slice clean, highs that crack open silence, all arranged with emotional weight that lingers long after the last note fades.

At the heart of Ecoteric`s identity is authenticity. Jay draws deeply from organic textures and the unpredictability of nature, folding them into the structured precision of electronic design. The results feel alive, sonic organisms that breathe, mutate, collapse, and reform. His early releases, Leminin, Osirus (2019), and the full-length Teria, were not simply collections of tracks, but manifestos in sound, music as ritual, as mirror, as truth.

As his vision expanded, so too did his need for independence. This gave rise to Dense Nebula Records, a label conceived not to follow trends but to carve its own constellation of meaning. Its purpose is simple yet resolute, distinct electronica, written and performed with purpose. Since its inception, the label has grown into a vast archive of over 200 works, weaving together voices bound by the same drive for authenticity. Dense Nebula stands less as a brand and more as a movement, a gravity well for those unwilling to compromise.

Yet `Jay` is not bound to a single voice. In 2023, he revealed another facet of his artistry through the alias Nueva. The debut track Nevamora, released on MŎNɅDɅ, unveiled a slower, darker aesthetic, fusing dramatic bounces with organic weight. Nueva is the shadow to Ecoteric`s flame, an alternate lens, exploring subterranean depths and uncharted emotional landscapes.

Together, Ecoteric, Nueva, and Dense Nebula form a triad, each orbiting the others yet retaining its own gravity. Ecoteric stands as the core, raw, psychedelic, deeply progressive. Nueva drifts at the edges, darker, slower, yet no less intense. Dense Nebula binds them, providing the constellation through which this vision expands outward.

For Jay, music has never been about entertainment alone. It is confrontation, meditation, weapon, and sanctuary all at once. Each release is a statement of permanence, a refusal to be disposable in a world of fleeting trends. His sound is not designed to fit neatly into categories, it is designed to transform, to resonate at the deepest levels of human instinct.

Whether as Ecoteric or Nueva, whether curating Dense Nebula or forging new paths, Jay remains relentlessly devoted to the art of vibration. He takes what is primal and reshapes it into something futuristic, bending chaos into order and order back into chaos.

His work does not seek to please. It seeks to endure. Visceral, uncompromising, and unmistakably human, this is the sound of Ecoteric.
