Spitting Image Collective is a group of Minnesota composers that came together in 2013 to build a strong community of composers, performers and listeners in the Twin Cities metro area. Since then, the collective has commissioned numerous new works from local Minnesota composers and presented them in concerts throughout the Twin Cities featuring many of the area’s most talented new music performers. Dedicated to community outreach and education, Spitting Image’s educational programs introduce learners of all ages to new music through listening, performing, and composing, including residencies at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis Public Schools, and workshops for the public. In addition, Spitting Image hosts community social events to encourage the formation of professional relationships among composers, and opportunities for composers to receive artistic feedback from peers. 

Spitting Image Collective members are: Katherine Bergman, Joshua Clausen, and Daniel Nass.

Inod is a composer of contemporary instrumental music. He works in a variety of styles - Classical, New Age, Orchestral, Pop, and Rock music. Inod's work can be heard in the documentary 'Atlantis Rising’ by James Cameron on National Geographic, The Real Housewives of Cheshire and The Real Housewives of Jersey on ITVBe, "Pope: The Most Powerful Man in History” on CNN, 'Like Nothing Else' 100 days until the 2018 Winter Olympics on NBC, TV shows: "Love & Hip Hop", "Southern Charm”, ”Ridiculousness", "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” NFL Football, Pawn Stars, and many others.

The Short Story of the 3 of us.

We met just under a year ago on twitter and found that we shared similar love for performance and enthusiasm over various styles of music. We decided this called for a special get-together, and made plans for Nikola and Amelie to come all the way down from Montreal this past July to play in the heart of Washington DC! The concert was so much fun, that we knew we must continue the collaboration-- So we decided to create an album with music from the concert and other music that we love to play!
