It was another great gig for Below Surface and Florian Bo who recently teamed up for their new duo called Absorbed. After a first run in Shanghai in november, the gig in Tresor marked their second appearance in public and they feel truely honored about the invitation to perform as the headliner of this saturday pre-christmas night in the basement. 
Their first release "Introduction EP" takes place on Advanced from Berlin on 29/12/2014.

Hjemme is Norwegian and means "At Home" – and this slow nighttime radio jam of smooth melancholia might as well be playing in a taxi whilst passing the moments in life that redefine “Hjemme” not as a particular space but feeling at home in all the odd varieties of oneself that are connected to several places – city lights mirrored by a ukulele, Norwegian high tech futurism on shady computer monitors, lights mysteriously being turned on and off , watched from the rear window of an ancient Berlin flat.

Opening the EP is title track Upperground, an ethereal upbeat House tune which has been an essential component of the sets of Solomun in the past weeks. Atlas showcases their ability to step over to the dark side with a fist-pumping melodic Techno thumper.Closing off the record is Dont Bring Me Down, which was written by Dino Lenny and enhanced by ARTBATs brush into an emotional dancefloor hymn. The pairing of its string arrangements and the touching vocals of Dino Lenny will surely make for memories that last past the night out in which you hear it.

Building on a framework true to the original rave-funking tech house smasher of Eli Brown's 'Tech This Out', Melody's Enemy provide a dirty upfront techno remix that has been doing damage everywhere it's thrown down. Championed by the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick and Skream across the back end of 2018, this one has melted arenas and festivals in abundance. The South London duo combine with their take on the original's vocal shots and rave stabs to form a weapons grade bomb of a relick.

Chances are, if you've caught yourself under the glow of a Drumcode festival tent across the past few months, you've heard the haunting chant of "ecstasy", the driving vocal across a mesmerizing tune called 'Space Date' that sees titans Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani and Green Velvet team together. Road tested first at fabric, Pleasurekraft has dipped the original in his own flavor of "cosmic techno". The remix has become a favorite of the Drumcode boss himself along with Maceo Plex and more. While not witnessed before, it is possible for two black holes to collide. Once they come so close that they cannot escape each other's gravity, they will merge to become one bigger black hole. 

With Rob Hes and Alex Mine swirling around each other for years, the gravitational pull was eventually too large and a collaboration of epic proportions was inevitable. With the reckoning of this new collaboration, Pursuit is adding another milestone to its history, consisting out of 3 originals delivering all the goods. With meticulous detail for sound design, groove and composition, Alex and Rob have done it again.

Additionally, Carlo Ruetz is making its long awaited return to Pursuit with a remix that is nothing short of craftsman ship and reshaping Falling Lines in his own signature sound.
