 I started out with this totally different set of guitar chords I was messing around with and ended up in a totally new spot by creating constraints for myself. I resampled the original guitar chords with a long attack time so it feels like volume swells. The Departure contains 2 thematic melodic lines that thread through the rest of the album." GO YAMA
