The Marx Brothers - Andy Warhol (1980) is a vibrant silkscreen print that reimagines a classic promotional photograph of the legendary comedy team Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and sometimes Zeppo, who dominated vaudeville and early Hollywood cinema. The artwork transforms the familiar black and white publicity still into a striking Pop Art composition defined by bold color overlays, sharp contrasts, and layered graphic textures.

The print emphasizes the brothers’ highly recognizable personas: Groucho with his painted mustache and cigar, Harpo with his wild curls, and Chico with his mischievous expression. Their faces are arranged in a way that balances individuality with a sense of group identity, echoing the ensemble nature of their performances. Warhol’s use of saturated color blocks and repeated visual forms flattens the photographic source, turning the comedians into icons, figures less tied to a specific film or moment and more representative of their lasting cultural imprint.

🎵 Heute haben wir Moloquai aus dem schönen Switzerland bei uns zu Gast. Er spielte am 22.11. ein Set beim ODD in Mailand. In einer über dreistündigen Performance liefert uns dieser Artist eine Traumreise wie aus dem Bilderbuch: sanft percussiv, verspielt bassig und malerisch melodisch. Man spürt förmlich, wie die Herbstsonne auf der Haut prickelt und die Schallwellen über den Körper wandern. Schaumwein auf der Zunge, nette Menschen weit und breit, so tanzt es sich doch am besten, egal ob draußen oder in den eigenen vier Wänden.

Ecstatic Qi creates spaces for safe exploration of touch, body, movement, and music. In sound and dance she has found her home – a place where she can be fully present and connected with herself. Her sets are stories woven with mindfulness, inviting to go deeper into the body and listen to its stories – about emotions, about what is alive within.

Besides music, she also works with voice, breath, and the energetic field of the group. 

A special place in her work is held by circles and spaces for women, where through dance, movement, and safe community we return to the body, intuition, and inner power. She draws inspiration from the Life Art Process method by Anna Halprin.

She co-creates the movement of sek&ual transformation Wild & Free, which combines art, sensuality, education, and deep embodied experiences in the celebration of life, freedom, and expression.

Her work is a fusion of art, ritual, somatics, and transformative music, guiding towards tender presence, collective resonance, and inner transformation.
