It's been almost 3 years since the last album has been released and ever since then dynamic duo is working on very special, unique, underground sound for their new album which is going to be released in 2018!

'First dose of DMT' is Ectima's unique blend of progressive groove, psychedelic atmospheres and powerful bass-line with technotic rhythm and industrial sounds. This rare combination of elements make this tune both hypnotic and dance-floor experience at the same time.

Biography:

Owen is a Mexican DJ and producer who has established himself as an emerging figure within the underground electronic music scene in Mexico. With an approach that fuses the hypnotic pulses of techno, the immersive energy of acid trance, and the warmth of house, Owen has created a unique sonic signature that distinguishes him on the dance floor.

His passion for electronic music began in his teens, inspired by the sounds of old-school raves and the progressive beats of Europe. Owen developed a style that blends deep bass lines, acid synths, and experimental grooves.

He began his professional career in 2015 playing at various parties in Mexico City, Acapulco, and the State of Mexico. Over time, his sets began to be recognized for their raw, psychedelic energy, leading him to perform at independent clubs and festivals.

Currently, Owen continues to expand his sound, working on new releases and audiovisual projects. For him, the dance floor is a place of transformation, and his mission is to create sonic journeys that connect body and mind through intense rhythms and psychedelic textures.

Owen es un DJ y productor mexicano que se ha posicionado como una figura emergente dentro de la escena underground de música electrónica en México. Con un enfoque que fusiona los pulsos hipnóticos del techno, la energía envolvente del acid trance y la calidez del house, Owen ha creado una firma sonora única que lo distingue en la pista de baile.

Su pasión por la música electrónica comenzó en la adolescencia, inspirado por los sonidos de la vieja escuela rave y los beats progresivos de Europa. Owen desarrolló un estilo que mezcla líneas de bajo profundas, sintetizadores ácidos y grooves experimentales.

Inició su carrera profesional en 2015 tocando en distintas fiestas de Ciudad de México, Acapulco y El Estado de México. Con el paso del tiempo, sus sets comenzaron a ser reconocidos por su energía cruda y psicodélica, llevándolo a presentarse en clubes y festivales independientes.

Actualmente, Owen continúa expandiendo su sonido, trabajando en nuevos lanzamientos y proyectos audiovisuales. Para él, la pista de baile es un lugar de transformación, y su misión es crear viajes sonoros que conecten cuerpo y mente a través de ritmos intensos y texturas psicodélicas.

Ectima is a progressive tech trance project created by Dalibor Delic (aka Flegma) and Nikola Kozic (aka Zyce), project created by head leaders of TesseracTstudio. This unique style can be described as constant sound-shifting, dynamic breaks and changes of rhythmic patterns. The dynamic duo started their collaboration in the year 2004... 
Soon after first album "NO WAY OUT" was released for Geomagnetic TV from USA, Ectima explode and started to spread all around the world. Folowing the success of the first album, duo released two more studio albums,"Ground Defense" as a debut CD on TesseracTstudio records, and "Clash Of The Civilizations ". Fourth studio album is on the way, duo 
is working on very special, unique, underground sound for our new album which is going to be released later in 2018!
