That's right, there's a day all about the history and love for pianos. As a 6th edition, following the Piano Day, an annual worldwide event, created by Nils Frahm in 2015, ECU label is launching its very first Various and physical CD release with enlisted help from outstanding contemporary classical and electronic music artists, as a close team!

The 88 Notes reflects the piano in its diversity and allows artists from different styles and backgrounds to connect and celebrate the piano together. Sometimes ambient, often abstract, and always creatively representative of the genre, EDEN GREY's new album combines electronic rhythms with vocals samplings to create sound images capable of transporting you to an internal sound world. 

The album’s star track “Water Me” is perhaps the most engaging, with the use of the Black Corporation Kijimi synthesizer and the haunting vocal of Joy Tyson. The singer tells the story and carries the melody.

Starting in 2009, he began sharing his musical universe under the name Nanopix and has been developing various radio projects since 2015, such as Nanopix Dans La Brume, Cloud Filter, and Third Eye Chronicles.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Rodrigo Passannanti to our label and showcase his incredible talent through the release of a new album, Omnipresence. 

Rodrigo Passannanti is an Italian-born electronic musician based in London, UK. He has been artistically involved as a composer and producer of various electronic music projects with worldwide releases for over two decades. He is a prolific producer also known in the IDM and Experimental scenes as Hypercube. In January 2021, he collaborated on an interview with the esteemed Sonic Landscapes Show with ECU. We are back with Sergei Galunenko, known as Scale, and today galun! The artist is renowned for his exceptional beatboxing skills, and we are thrilled to explore this further with him for your enjoyment.

This is a very special addition to our catalog, "Lyublyu" transcends its simplicity with lyrical and vocal content. Even though it is a standalone track, fans will be delighted to know that an "alternative" version is available, as well as a very special physical 7” lathe cut vinyl and the release is available on every platform.

We trust "Lyublyu" is either going to be a love on first listen or a song that will grow on you with time.

In his project, galun, do not use musical instruments. All the sounds are produced with only the use of his voice through beatbox and special vocal skills. Some effects are used to produce electronic sounds. 

2023 was a rich year for the artist, who has multiple releases under both avatars, you can find him on the labels, One instrument, Fuselab, Hobbes Music and ourselves. We wish the multidisciplinary artist a 2024 filled with forthcoming opportunities and are glad to be opening the year for him.
