After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

viridian aka Shaun Keyt has spent the last 25 years immersed in music composition and sound production. As Viridian, Shaun has released his music everywhere throughout Europe and America in the golden age of Vinyl with tracks such as Sunhump receiving international acclaim and charted many times by artists all over the world. 

Combining driving, rolling techno with rhythmic melody, Viridian has been playing live for two decades. Since releasing the Viridian EP in the mid 90s, he has been developing a style, which layers melodic warmth with driving percussion and signature sound design.

viridian has played live at many festivals such as the Hardware, Welcome and Two Tribes parties as well as numerous clubs such as Revolver and The Lounge. During this time, he performed alongside some of the most established names in electronic music such as Carl Cox, Speedy J, Daft Punk, Richie Hawtin and C J Bolland.

My work explores the relationship between Critical theory and copycat violence.
With influences as diverse as Null Moment and Blunt Object, new combinations are crafted from both traditional and modern structures.
Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the Null Object. What starts out as yearning soon becomes manipulated into a cacophony of distress, leaving only a sense of failing and the dawn of a new order.
As subtle replicas become reconfigured through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the darkness of our existence.

Mash Waves Music is a music project by Daniel Soffner based in Melbourne, Australia.

Daniel grew up in Germany and started making music at the age of 7 when he learned playing piano and guitar. Over the years he collaborated with musicians from different genres, covering pop, electronic and classical music. His music is mainly influenced by movie soundtracks and by the New Wave and electronic music from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Over the years he collaborated with film makers, show producers and modern dance collectives to create unique music covering a variety of styles.

He now lives and works in Melbourne, Australia’s culture capital.

Since more than 28 years Pascal FEOS is playing the very special and individual style of his music around the globe. Besides he´s producing, remixing and managing his labels, nerdish and staying true to his roots as always. You can feel immediately that this "old-school"consciousness is living in every inch of his body. No matter if you are getting to know him as a DJ behind a set of turntables or if you hear one of his many productions - the impact, that Pascal FEOS has on others, is truly original.

The philosophy with which Pascal FEOS is managing his labels is closely linked to his personal idea of the DJ. He himself is one of those DJs who understand their work as a mission rather than as a platform to draw a lot of attention on their person. His whole attention belongs to the dance floor and to the next record which is only destined for the dancers. Pascal calls this approach "club-dedicated without a doubt" - and he definitely knows what he is talking about. "Iam happy", he says, "that this is also my point of view when working in the studio". Understanding the needs of the dancefloor, to know your business and to be able to work with all the equipment in your studio by yourself are the minimum standards that Pascal has for his own artistic work.

Being responsible for 5 solo albums, over 200 releases and hundreds of remixes it is only right that this attitude gets him a lot of respect and success. In his discography one is able to find a range of popular names embracing the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth or AnneClark. As DJ, producer and remixer he counts to the most sought after artist in the field of electronic music and his work has already led him to all continents of the world. The future will show which heights Pascal will reach with his firm belief in substance, qualityand consistency. One thing is sure: this man knows that he has yet away to go..
