The original version of "Agnus Dei", called "Agnus Dei: Phoenix", was written for the Phoenix Chorale in 2010. After a few years, the piece had evolved into something more condensed and introspective that felt like the essence of the piece, bookended by the peaceful opening theme. That turned into this final edition, which is simply named "Agnus Dei" to help differentiate it from the original.

The story about the lonely Nix, who falls in love with the princess when he hears her singing. He creates himself to a knight and lures the princess to follow him. When he wants to pull her down under the water, into his home, she realizes who she's dealing with. She manages to sings herself out of his arms - leaving him sad and crying, while she happily returns back home...

I had a nice trio version for that song but I just can't find the heart to show it... It's not real then.
When I first saw that film I was, I think, 10-12 years old. 
It has been with me since. I just had that version in case I wanted an outro but the feeling of the song itself... I can never ever change it nor I want to.
And why do I still upload it? Because I just want to share with You, one of the most important pieces of music in my life. 
The story of Brooks... Come to think of it... It never gets old. 

So who doesn't know, the original song was part of the OST for Shawshank Redemption... haven't seen it? Put it on Your bucket list. 

My name is Martin-Eero Kõressaar and I am an upright bass player from Estonia. I study in the Estonian Academy of Music.
I have done a similar project before, (search for: "Experiment 30,5 days")
This time the rules are pretty much the same:

"With one rule - base material for these must be acoustic recordings (pickups allowed). Manipulating them via audio software is allowed. But generating a whole new sound via DAW's isn't allowed in my little project." (Exp30,5)

But this time there is much less time and also travelling meanwhile so it's going to be quite the ride.

Why am I doing this?
Because it keeps me alive inside.

Thomas Newman - Simple Truths

(Eng) This is the second and the only vocal track of the album "A Dream Come True" by Javier Quilis. This track was recorded between Hungary and Spain. I discovered Lara Ausensi by the sample Library "Shevannai: The Voice of Elves". When I listened to her voice I contacted with her and surprisingly She accepted to sing "Far Away". Thank you so much Lara!
