I decided that, to keep myself writing and recording music while doing everything else I'm doing in my hectic life, I'd create a personal challenge to myself to create and upload a song to this soundcloud every week. This set contains all of those songs. This will hopefully go on for a year, from June 23rd, 2013, to June 22nd, 2014, a full year of new music.

Neon Genesis Evangelion OP - Cruel Angel's Thesis (Game Boy version)

This is a back story concept & track that I came up with that was inspired by the 12 part comic book series "Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide". My goal was to create a blend of Sonic & Mega Man vibes with a Sega Genesis type flavor. I could have went harder with this track but I took the "less is more" approach...which means I belted this out on the keys pretty quickly, chords and baseline wise. Lead melody wise, I covered some Green Hill here...and also some Mega Man 8 in the last moments of the track. Thanks for listening...I might do more with this "Sonic & Mega Man" concept if this track gets enough recognition.  Enjoy!
